Finally deleting my authy account. I stopped using it ages ago. I refreshed my 2FA tokens a way back and then I went though and removed them from Authy a minute ago. Now I'm doing the last step and just deleting my account. Now that that's done I gotta just delete all the apps.

After a lot of mucking around and research, I managed to restore my #fairphone 4's data after I had to wipe it in order to restore fingerprint functionality.

So far, I do not appear to have lost anything apart from the expected banking apps 2FA and the like.

Even the data of #AegisAuthenticator could be restored; only had to re-enable the (now working) biometrics.

I'll properly publish my android backup tooling soon (spoiler: #adb #nix #borgbackup #ssh).

Ich verwende für #2FA folgende Kombination und kann beides empfehlen:

• auf Linux: #OTPClient
• auf Android: #AegisAuthenticator

Da kann man die Daten von einem zum anderen sogar importieren/exportieren. Da ändert sich ja nicht sooo häufig was wie bei Passworten, aber jeden einzeln per OCR-Code einlesen ist mühsamer, wenn man mehr als 10 hat (OCR Import/Export geht aber auch).

Extra Passwortschutz (für App und die Datei) kann man zusätzlich einstellen.

二段階認証アプリの切り替え、サービスごとに再設定は必要ではあるにせよ全然簡単で大した手間ではなさそう。

If you don't trust even it, you're good to go with #KeePassXC (and #Syncthing to keep database on more devices than 1, which I think is unavoidably necessary in absense of cloud alternative that you want to put faith in).
