Knit-o-don, please show me your knitting needle organizers. Show me your shoeboxes, your drawers, your fancy "everything in its place" custom devices.

The Sitch:
*finally convinced house mate to ditch foxtel a) on principle and b) the cost was horrendous
*In hastings Vic, cannot pick up free to air (FTA) on (samsung) smart TVs with antenna - web site tells me the signal repeater is over the hills and far away
*without foxtel friend now cannot even watch the rare cricket/ sport stuff occasionally broadcast on 7 but NOT on 7plus
*personally i have zero Fs to give except friend is trying to adjust to living within her means (LOL).

repeated web searches suggest IPTV might be a solution as it makes FTA available along with other channels (i might be able to swap some current streaming subscriptions if i try this)

has anyone tried HD IPTV or similar?
ps i try, but struggle with IT, and only understand 5% of what i read on mastodon, and pps i don’t fancy giving amazon or other megaturds my details

(that said, admit i currently have apple and disney.)
netflix have been easy to deal with, i admit but i’m not paying to watch ads
