Is there a better way to remap audio inputs and outputs then qpwgraph? It is just PAINFUL as everything places randomly, I need to drag left and right inputs one by one, and to diconnect a node I need to click every input to it and disconnect them one by one

(I want to be able to send input to both mine and @WizardOfDocs 's headphones at the same time, and toggle that on and off easily.)

Entering the most dangerous phase of the day: fixing to go. Today I am fixing to go to work. So snails pace is to be praised. I have to manage the following tasks:
Make my lunch.
Get and pack the right notes. Shower and dress.
Find car keys and purse.
Put in hearing aids.
Get in car.
Go back in house to collect forgotten item (choose from list above or any other random thing).
Get back in car.
Leave.

Some of you must be electric #kettle people. Is there anything I should know about joining the #ElectricKettle ranks? Is the 1.7L Ambiano (#Aldi brand) kettle US$18.99 sufficient or do I need to be choosier? It feels pretty cheap but I just need it for a few mugs of #tea a day. It includes the basic safety features and seems to do its job just fine - I just don't know if there are any "you'll hate yourself if you don't get one that does/includes X" features for which I should be looking.

Hihi fedi~ a question~ I'll be moving to the US in about a month or two (waiting for my visa), specifically Urbana in Illinois! Uhhmm, could I ask any helpful fedizen to give me advice about finding trans-friendly accommodation there? I haven't rented in the US before so I'm a little lost about some things~

First question, Should I try and book a place to stay in advance, like now, or should I wait until I get there and stay at a hotel for the first week and then go and visit?

My worry is that it's going to be hard to assess whether a place is good to stay in from just pictures, so visiting in person might be ideal?

Related question, will I face difficulties finding a place to rent given that I haven't rented in the US before? Are there any kinds of documents that landlords will need? like do they expect references or something? my previous landlord is in SG, and the one before that was the Uni, so I don't know if that counts?

I am not sure what to do about her pooping and I don’t feel like I should set up a litter box and start treating her like my own, but I’m worried when she goes nowhere else and is just eating the occasional treats I give her. Nobody in my immediate vicinity knows who she belongs to though they’ve seen her in the neighborhood before.

There’s a neighborhood cat who has taken to spending almost the entire day on my porch. I give her some treats and water but she is obviously well fed and well groomed and so I am assuming she has an actual home. But she doesn’t seem interested in going anywhere else until sometime overnight. She sleeps and hangs out near me when I sit outside. She nips a little when she bores of being pet or when she demands more petting. She also pooped on my porch the last 2 nights. 1/2 #advicewelcome #cats

New mission for new dog: Find a muzzle that fits well, acclimate her to it, and then try interactions again. A muzzle, plus a fairly low excitement situation, and definitely not any extended chew treats involved… I think it may work.

There’s zero growling when the boys pass her kennel and they sniff each other, and their kennels are all right up next to each other, so they’re all familiar with everyone’s smells by now.

Update! We have flooring. #DIY #BigHouse #AdviceWelcome. Things they don’t tell me in the videos: 1) as I have lathe and plaster walls every time I hit the flooring with a wooden mallet plaster leaps out the wall all over the place (I mean 1.5m spread of dusty grit).
2) if you have lathe and plaster walls the cute little plastic wedges also jump out when the flooring goes together.
3) if the flooring expert is 5ft tall and not well built with muscle, you won’t be able to ‘click’ the flooring together by hand!
So 1) I am working with the hoover between every board! 2) I’m replacing the wedges every 2 second and 3) I have sacrificed a whole board to use as a buffer between my wooden mallet and the floor to be my ‘hands’. Next plan is to cut some of my offcuts into ‘spacers’ to replace the wedges… let’s hope I can get the out again at the end! 😂💪

Advice wanted - photography for shop

I have an Etsy shop (https://UnwoundBobbin.etsy.com) and in the coming year I want to make it easier to get pictures on a neutral background for the shop. Does anyone have a set up they recommend? I’m looking at spending no more than £50.

Ideally I need something collapsible. I was looking at the photo cube things on Amazon but there’s so much crap there now I don’t know if any are good.

How much do you share with followers | potential customers?

I have a #kofishop & page where I currently sell monthly wallpapers & commissioned art pieces. I want to build up to selling stickers & stationery ephemera as well as some small crochet goods. However, it's taken me some time to build up to this financially. I'm formerly homeless, so my business is currently fully reliant on current shared household income [shared with spouse]; we each get an allowance monthly, and I'm earmarking some of mine for my business. I don't want to leave my followers | customers hanging, but I'm not sure how to present this information or if I need to? I thought about maybe a giveaway or something which requires participants to make a donation, but I'm not sure if this is a good idea, either.
