Last night we finished the introductory adventure for #AdventurersLeague #dnd Season 4, and the party was spirited away in the mist to Ravenloft. We had plenty of time left, so we smoothly transitioned into the next adventure as they wandered to Orasnau and got rooms at the inn. Plenty of good roleplay, and most of the lore background is provided by a couple players who have Ravenloft origin characters and played Curse of Strahd earlier.

Been poking through prep for season 4 of #AdventurersLeague #DnD - this one feels most like an ongoing story compared to previous seasons. The adventures themselves are shorter and more straightforward but go right from one to the next. Overall it's a lot like a short campaign where each session's flow is nicely laid out for you.

So happy with myself for how I adapted #ReclamationOfPhlan from a four hour convention epic into a mini campaign for my table. We're in week six now, playing three nights a week and rotating between parties. Two of the three tracks have now reached the threshold of victory points where they can call it over, but they're insisting on seeing every side mission. I'm rewarding the threshold by letting them traverse without random encounters, which signifies the enemy armies being depleted. If they don't defeat the villains in the course of their random fly-bys I think I'll set up a grand finale with everyone involved simultaneously like I did for Corruption in Kryptgarden.
