Yes, I’m a #wargamer! Yesterday, we played #ASL / #AdvancedSquadLeader for about 9 h. My head was spinning so much that I thought I was going to get a headache. We lost! It was epic! What made me happiest was that I brought together 2 #ASL fans who were always looking for fellow players. Awesome!

This (self proclaimed) PTO guy just realised how long he hasnt been playing PTO. Finally playing IJA again. Shot all the infantry off an AFV, smoked the sucker, sent a THH down the street to it but he got shot, sent a striped squad to it with a DC but missed optimal placement by 1. DC exploded though stunning the crew. Went into CC it but only immoblised it.
Could have sent a 10-1 in with an FT and toast it as a followup but I was afraid he won't make it back 'cause the Americans nearby might rally in the next RPh.
PTO is DEFINITELY the place to be.

RE: The next version of SASL. A playtester speculated that it will have the updated SASL Red Barricades, a new Red October, Blood Reef Tarawa plus at least 11 to 12 new missions. #advancedsquadleader

Not sure why, but I was in the midst of having dimsum when I thought: how come a M5A1 ('Stuart') is fast enough to cross 17 hexes in one MPh time period but yet takes the same time to cross someone's LOS as a French R35.
That brings out the idea that time is indeed elastic ...
