Oh #adobe how do I despise thee, let me count the ways! I recently cancelled my subscription, got a cancellation confirmation, paid the cancellation fee but still this morning I got this misleading/incorrect email claiming they are still trying to collect further payment for an account they themselves confirmed was closed. (See last sentence.)
This just confirms I made the right choice. Adobe, you suck! -
Yesterday was the official end date of the #adobe subscription I cancelled, so you can be darn sure I went into my bank web site this morning to make sure there were no "accidental" charges. That is how little I would trust Adobe at this point. #AdobeSucks

Given all the crap going on with Adobe (not to mention the cost!) I decided it's time for me to look at alternatives for photo editing and raw file workflow. I am looking at RawTherapee this afternoon and liking what I see so far. It imports files from my Sony just fine, and seems to be running well on my M1 Mac Mini running Asahi #Linux #AsahiLinux #photography #AdobeSucks

Adobe is a shit corporation, has always been a shit corp and is only getting worse. Don't want to give them everything you make? You don't have to.

Meine Eltern wollten sich verschiedene Dokumente zum Kindergeld runter laden, steht da erstmal ein riesiger Button: "Sie brauchen den Adobe Reader dafür"
WTF!!! Schamlosere Werbung geht ja gar nicht. BTW selbst Firefox kann die Dokumente anzeigen und ausdrucken.
