@donmoyn @pamela_herd Speaking of #AdministrativeBurdens, when we were dealing with my MIL's dementia, we learned (1) you have to already have less than $2000 to even be allowed to apply for Medicaid (a process that will take several months); (2) you are legally allowed to put a disabled person's assets into a trust which then allows them to meet the "no assets" rule; (3) the disabled person's assets can be used to pay a lawyer to create the trust & do the paperwork to qualify for Medicaid. 1/2
