Hey people who know a lot about #adhesives (surely some of you do?):

I want to put a little square of tape on my laptop's touchpad to denote the "middle-click" region. I tried duct-tape, but the glue is melting and the edges are peeling up.

Any suggestions for the right kind of sticky tape to use on an aluminum surface that often gets moderately hot, and will be pressed down by my thumb hundreds (thousands?) of times every day?
