Speaking of birthdays, I make cards for my close family members bc I have lots of card stock/stamps leftover from the stamping craze and I can (usually) make something nicer than the picked-over cards at the drug store. Made one for my dad today, and went ahead and made my mom’s card too. It’s very time-consuming. Very tempted to make them all around Xmas and just mail everyone their card on Jan.1st so I don’t have to stress about it every couple of months.

Can anyone out there recommend a digital (preferred) clock, preferably wall mount, that only shows the day of the week?
My #ADHD #Brain really struggles with remembering the day of the week, especially working from home and I have to remember to send certain things into school on certain days. I already have a million alarms but a clock of some kind by the backpack would help.

Does anyone with ADHD out there play the "start to finish game"?
I feel like when I had the energy it was something that really helped me keep things from doom piling.
Basically each item has to end up back in the place it should start by the time I'm finished something.
I'm pretty sure that's something neurotypicals just seem to be able to do, but the only way I could stay on track was to make it a game in my head.It also helped me realize when something didn't really have a place to live.
Really wishing I had the energy to stay on top of things the way I used to be able to, but even still if I have a day where I'm not feeling too sick it helps a lot.

I have a terrible time remembering which pills I've taken or if I already took my pills so I finally got frustrated and devised a random ADHD hack. I can't always remember if I've taken them, but I can remember if they were upside down or right side up for some reason. So I started flipping them over every time I take them. I can also make sure I took all of them because they should all be in the same direction. I'm perplexed, but it's working. #adhd #audhd #chronicIllness #adhdHacks

I gave in and ordered one of those timed chastity belts for phones you can get from Amazon. I’m hoping I can use it like a Ulysses Pact for focus periods.
I’ll probably let you know in a few weeks when it arrives, how it goes.

I find it really useful as a person with #adhd to read a book with an audiobook as a companion, sometimes I'll just listen, sometimes I'll read and listen along, it's definitely helpful for focus.
