My #DisabledSailing association, #AbleSail Victoria secured a funding grant from #SailCanada & now can offer a CANSAIL 1 course at Royal Victoria Yacht Club. I signed up this morning for training in August.
Once I successfully complete CanSail 1, I can take their Can Sail 2 course. These will help me reach my adaptive sailing dreams of competing in a future Mobility Cup regatta.Very grateful for all funding grants & donors for helping Able Sail Victoria with monies needed to keep their programs running. Disabled folks like me wouldn't be able to afford participating if the programs weren't highly subsidized.
