  2. Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 1054 , Wednesday 16/09/2026

Wednesday being gym day started bright & early.

Not a bad session although I really do need a way of keeping track of how many sets I’ve done!

Mrs S was in the office today so peace & tranquility reigned!

Breakfast was followed by the daily chores then I dug out my spare pair of big boy pants & braved the garage!

Even though I spent most of the morning in there & have thrown a load of stuff away it seems to have made little impression overall!

I need to get a load of stuff down to the tip over the next few days that should clear some space for the next instalment!

A relaxing afternoon though which was nice.

    Final Thoughts.

Well Mrs S goes across to let the Estate Agents take photos of her mums house so it can go on the market … there are a number of things I suggested she get fixed before selling but as usual the advice fell on deaf ears.

On the plus side it will be a nice quiet morning for me!

  4. I've always had a strange love of food served to me by a machine. Does anyone else have that?

My fondest memory was of a time my older brother took me to the tech school he went to, and I was around 7 years old. The lunch room was on the second floor, with big floor to ceiling windows overlooking an airport. Along one wall was a bank of more vending machines than I have ever seen. So I got to eat a heated can of soup while watching the planes take off and land (airplanes are a SpIn of mine). :blob_cat_melt_love:

I even love drinking fountains, and have a hard time not using them whenever I see one (even in video games). Part of that though is my also strange love of infrastructure. It's like a physical manifestation of society taking care of me. :blob_cat_heart:

  5. [P] I just want an autistic world. It'd make me giggle with such cathartic glee.

"Holy crap! Our leader ISN'T a rapist using nepotism to empower fellow rapists, bigots, war criminals, and wealth barons. All while accusing others of being rapists while hiding their rape island. Goddamn! That's so fucking cool! Man, Autism World is awesome!"

  6. Not sure if this is an #ActuallyAutistic thing but does anyone else really struggle with replying on social media?
I read mastodon a fair bit. I’ll throw a few likes out, mainly if people take the time to reply to me and I appreciate them but feel like I don’t have much to say in response.
But I have this intrinsic belief that my contribution isn’t worthy.

If someone posts something awful or that they’re sad about like an injury or a death, I desperately want them to feel better. But if I see lots of other people replying I’ll feel there’s nothing I could add of value so I don’t.
When there aren’t lots of other responses I still seem to think that nothing I say will be useful or valued by the person so I just… don’t.
Even though part of me knows it’s probably not the case that the recipient would find any input from me unwelcome, I still don’t. Just in case.

So just know that if I’m basically usually invisible unless I’m writing long introspective self-important bullshit like this, I probably think about you a lot and hope you’re doing ok.

  7. [P] I mean, try to point out any hiverarchy of any scale that's lead by a moral, ethical scholar. I want you to try. I know ehat the results will be, but you need to see this creepiness as I do. The only time it happens is in smaller groups where neurodivergence is over-represented. So ehy are they so achingly thirsty for monsters? Why can't hiverarchians push a moral person to the top? Why is it always a monster?

    #psychology #actuallyautistic #hiveraechiansaredumb & #creepy

  8. [P] It's a fair question, right? Why are hiverarchians just desperately gagging—like drug addicts—to conform to some kind of evil? Every authority they get hot for conforming to is evil in some way. A neurodivergent world would be scholar-led because, at the very least, neurodivergent people aren't panting to obey monsters. I genuinely see their inability to conform to good as creepy beyond measure.

  9. [P] I don't think neurotypical hiverarchians can stop being colonial. The ones at the top of their hiverarchies are always, invariably, historically the most corrupt, greedy, evil turds. The conformity fetish is honestly more of a fetish of submission to evil. And yes I think that's creepy! Why is it always racists, rapists, war criminals, wealth barons, and the like who get their conformity juices pumping? Why not ethical scholars?

All that remains is Level 7’s story missions—and somehow finding enough loose change to fund $3,750 worth of remaining purchases.

  11. If you're experiencing Autistic burnout and you want to recover, you're not asking for the Moon. You don’t 𝙖𝙗𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 a pile of money and a team of silent, robotic servants to magically appear and take care of all your needs, forever, without any human interaction. 13. [P] Oof. That report on how Israeli militants have been sexually, physically, and psychologically abusing palestinian prisoners is telling, isn't it? Zuonism is nowt but white supremacy, and only cartoonishly evil people and their creepy, conformist puppets support it. Unfortunately for all life on earth, neurotypical hiverarchians are unerringly excellent at being creepy, conformist puppets.

  14. I keep thinking of little, out-of-context things that I would probably want managers/colleagues to know about working with me, but don't really have any coherent thing to do with them. Maybe I should gather them here as a thread for now.

Does anyone else go, "speak for yourself, bud," whenever they see a news title in the cliched format <thing> is changing the way we <verb>?

I'm wondering if this is a common thing that could go in the questionnaires.

  18. Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 1053 , Tuesday 15/09/2026

Tuesday started far earlier than it should have done with next door making a racket.

Downstairs & having breakfast around 07:15.

Something I had to eat yesterday decided to fight with my digestive system this morning. Nothing too serious but enough to put a dampener on the day.

Managed to do my basic chores but not much else.

I had a plain lunch & tea & this evening I seem to be over whatever ailed me this morning.

    Final Thoughts.

I am struggling with motivation again,

  19. Interesting question for my fellow #neurodivergent writers.

If you had someone looking at your Bookreport (book sales data) what would you like them to help you with? What problems do you have in interpreting this data? What questions do you have?

I had an interesting conversation with someone today, and am curious.
