The #PA4Age Erasmus project was successfully completed with an international conference in Treviso, Italy, where the project partners presented the platform and app they designed to promote #activeageing to sports & health professionals, as well as interested older adults.
The PA4Age app is available for both android and apple, so you can check it out yourself!

NEW article on my concept of #career tapering for the #Japan Association for #Language Teaching @jalt - "Lifelong Learning and Retiring Retirement Stereotypes."
Most #employed residents of Japan & many other countries will be unable or unwilling to #retire. If forced out by #ageism, stereotypical dismissiveness towards older people & sudden loss of status can be vertiginous. Yet there is great demand for our services in #internationaleducation, etc. I counter #stereotypes of tapering off or career decline and instead offer a positive vision of #ActiveAgeing. There are suggestions to enjoy a better #qualityoflife than ever, with more time to create and #curate. #LifelongLearning can accord with lifelong interests.
