  14. The Way of the Sith - Darth Magellon's Holocron @thewayofthesithandthesithpath.wordpress.com@thewayofthesithandthesithpath.wordpress.com ·

    The Great Schism

“Accept the world as it is, rather than how we wish it would be.” (Lives of the Stoics, possibly from Zeno of Citium)

“It’s not what happens to us that matters but how we respond to it.” possibly Zeno of Citium, a crucial Stoic lesson)

“Metapolitics is a war of social transformation, at the level of worldview, thought, and culture. Any parliamentary struggle must be preceded, legitimised, and supported by a metapolitical struggle.” (Daniel Friberg)

“But metapolitics does not simply undermine and deconstruct; it creates, encourages, inspires, and illuminates.” (Daniel Friberg)

“Stoicism is about refusing to bow down to social pressures, a Sith do not want social validation. While everybody else chases gratification [from others], the Sith are claiming power.”

“Or will you embrace the truth—the path of the Sith—and use conflict as a tool to forge your strength.”

“Ultimately our growth comes from struggle, pain, and challenges.” (Sith Mastery, YouTube channel)

“Sith don’t give up, they never accept defeat because failure is a tool for growth, it’s the mechanism that leads to truth and success.” (Sith Proverb)

“Peace is the illusion that blinds the weak. Without it there is only stagnation.”

“Even on a smaller scale, organisms and singular cells vie for dominance. What power is born from placidity?… What holds us back? It’s simple. Fear of pain, fear of loss, fear of the unknown. It’s precisely these fears that hold us back, that keeps us in mediocrity. Embrace conflict and you will embrace growth.” (Order of Rage)

“Fear is another powerful ally. Fear is not to be conquered, as the Jedi foolishly teach, but to be embraced and wielded. Fear drives the survival instinct. When one instills fear in others, one commands them. When one harnesses one’s own fear, it is transformed into vigilance and cunning. Fear keeps one alive, sharpens one’s blade, and gives one dominion over the weak who quail before its grip. Understand this: fear is not a weakness; it is a tool, and with it, we may control those who cannot master their own terror.” (Darth Corrosis)

“Justice in our minds is strife. We cannot help but see war makes us as we are.” (Heraclitus)

“The whole point of virtue Ethics is to provide you rules of thumb to train your body/soul towards powerful actions and potent outcomes. It has nothing to do with being “a good boy” and everything to do with being a more capable man of power. Virtù > “virtues”” (Lanceslegion)

Light and dark are forces that when based upon identity can be used creatively and so, can be a force to create, destroy, preserve, create chaos, or transform. The light is decay, weakness, passivity, and vice exalts systems of that further causes the decaying order to overshadow the individual with valuing utility and progress over integrating our darkness. The secular side of the Sith discover their passionate and powerful sides, their values are formed from their identity which is based upon responsibility for their rigor and standard wishes to elevate gain clarity, inner awareness, and direction, that exalts the individuality and the true self/ego/soul, the values that come from this awareness or understanding their inner world once they align with it through action is stability. What we currently exalt is equal outcomes and human rights, but the dark side values the opposite, hierarchy and empire. Most people assume the Sith are here to cause trouble, as they are often viewed as the opposite or shadow side of the Jedi, merely a reaction to the Jedi’s perspective on their role in order, harmony, cooperation, and equality, so the Sith must necessary believe in chaos, destruction, rivalry, and betrayal as most onlookers assume?

The Sith are seen as the shadow that many refuse to acknowledge, the hidden, the unknown, the layer of complexity that surrounds identity that strengthens discipline, the discipline that strengthens purpose, purpose that strengthens power, and power that imbues one with flow on effects to respect, allegiance, and power. These things are not built by being a mere cog in someone else design or by follow the herd, we take decisive action with responsibility viewing it not as a burden, we don’t confuse rigidity with power, but honesty with ourselves, that’s where mastery begins. In the Self, this inner control is the foundation upon which everything is built and evolves, without it ambition and power becomes only self-destruction. If power becomes stronger than its wielder, then we become a slave to said power rather than its master. We are only free when we use power when needed. And what becomes responsibilities and direction, but by confronting the truths that most people seem to avoid. A Sith destroys illusions long before they destroy obstacles or dismantle weak grounding, we seek the conditions for strength to grow. They destroy false beliefs that condition that no longer serves them, annihilate habits that weakens them, and break free from expectations that made them feel small, less than their progress that have obtained, feeling like a failure, despite having a plan. The Sith will organize their daily existence, strength begins with small rituals, incremental habits, and techniques of specialization constructively that shapes our daily existence.

The Sith believe in not being a mere cog in the machine of a system’s design, this is because there is only shared misery if where unconsciously moving in the world, where at that point a herd animal subject to opinions or feelings of those around us. We would be no better than the Jedi, who preach mercy or compassion, but are complacent as the world rule based order decays from within, as we see now. There can be no compliance and obedience to something that doesn’t have personally defined code or moral standard existence, the Sith merely form boundaries, rules, or beliefs – shape themselves and strong in spirit, an identity and define their own standard of behavior, a self-definition, high standard that aren’t defined by their fears, and not defined by what people think around them, the Sith destroy illusions long before they destroy anything external, this destruction is refusal to obey system that is insular, decadent, and praises comfort over power, power that the Sith require and apprentices crave because of individuality and desire. The Sith ultimately live deliberately, with passion, strength, clarity, ambition, and freedom, as the thousand year history and folklore have claimed.

The Sith seek responsibility for their failures, circumstances which is a culmination of their choices, growth, and what we avoid by any excuses. It requires honesty with oneself, each decision only weakens or strengthens the Sith you are trying to create, the destiny from what we regularly do, our destiny arises out of taking action and being consistent.

The Great Schism started with destiny, vitality, and vision that is first born out of a tribes, who don’t just value their ego and power, but overvalue it to the point where there is maximum incentive to seek political power and pursue their own greatness. Whereas what happens in the late stage of a civilization is where moralizing or comfort becomes the norm. Equality of outcomes, human rights, and deciding on things by ones level of conformity to the ideology and convention in society. Being conformist right down to ones core. But a core that is built on someone’s else’s vision it lacks purpose, and thus it ends in chaos, it is no core at all.

Which lacks personal, moral or social values of any sort except almost a value- self-sacrifice which defers values to just what other people tend to think that influences one without fully aware of why we think and act as though we are emotionless robot or economic unit that consumes things, spends free time not on self-reflection but distraction, but as Fight Club quote goes We work jobs we hate, to buy things we don’t need, to impress people we don’t like.” and “The things you own end up owning you”. We are becoming, and through becoming we can strive towards higher ideals, and become those ideals slowly, no easy shortcuts. Nature is the pursuit and craving for power, the power within to be great, and the power externally to be influential and uphold, secure, and defend their will or agenda, and have the power to protect all the other values and extend them across the territory, continent, and world. The progress of the ‘liberal progress cult’ is a dead end because it defends decay and death of masculinity, heroism, and excellence. The best option is to uphold the good of both sides, and denounce the bad of both sides, and that’s the power and openly ruling like the progress cult, stand for defend and devote to excellence and dynamic life like the conservative side, but avoid the stagnation of the cul-de-sac of conservativism which attempts to defend a decaying order, and the liberalism of progress which seeks mere entitlement, passivity, hedonism, equal outcomes, and restrictions. The real Sith-like tradition is for our nature, those who seek beauty, excellence, power, and strengthening order.

We end up serving a decaying world of a basically a system that feeds on ignorance, weakness or complacency, relying on a servile class who have no obedience to deep values, but are satisfied with utility over pain, wages over purpose or destiny, short-term gain over vision, and reason over spirit. Attempting to bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator, so that materialism, complacency, and mediocrity is seen as the route to success rather than something to be ridiculed, looked down upon with indifference or chastised for its inability to produce inner strength and personal growth. The Sith don’t care about this late-stage materialistic notion of conforming to the lowest common denominator and yearn to return to their traditions.

To realize your personal goals, purpose, mission, or cause requires a workable principles and practice for self-development, growth, and mastery. Sith exalt themselves. The source of power in the world is the individual and the inspiration coming from deep within, being filled with a sense of ourselves. Powerful groups have powerful leaders, philosophers, poets, writers, and artists. From metaphysical and inner power springs success. The inspiration of Sith is often going to be their legacy, their authority, what enhances their sense of themselves is their differentiation, needs and wants, to do what serves them.

Your differentiation leads to your vitality, vision, and destiny. The nature of Sith is that they separate themselves from others, differentiation is part and parcel of a worldview of tradition and is necessary for realizing social order and the potential of our true self. While beliefs can grant you power (idea into realization), you must break free from all limitations (Self-exploration) to be anybody of worth.

The first two parts of establishing one’s purpose and social order to an extent is going to be explained here. The rise of order comes from differentiation and freedom, to differentiate ourselves from others by defining our self-concept and beginning with a purpose and perception, that means having to gain self-awareness by three principles (self-awareness, self-determination, and self-expression) and the control and ability to tap into the traits and emotions that really makes the individual unable to be broken and a spirit that cannot be tamed. The second component is the desire for freedom, to be free is to take the path that is not tread by others, at least not by almost anyone nowadays, the path of fulfilment is freedom. Mastery or freedom means the inclination and power to determine our own path. Particularly towards fulfilling one’s own vitality, vision and destiny, it’s also what you have to do regularly to fulfill and gain your strength, growth, and truth or perfection.

While Sith provide guidance on the multitude of paths out there, the Sith always are encouraged to seek their destiny as they see fit. By differentiation what I merely mean is to be true to ourselves by the process of struggle, which reveals what a person is truly made of and their will/aspirations, their vision, and their values. The Sith commit to this by our very nature, that comes from a place of strength, embracing all the strong parts of ourselves and destroying the weak parts of ourselves that held us back. The Sith promise to themselves to unapologetically live in accordance with their own truth, to continually devote oneself to what we personally find exciting, what makes our blood boil, or what makes our spirit soar, our purpose or personal goals will be what we wish to achieve or become. Struggle is the mechanism that allows one to grow and advance at a much faster rate then a normal person does, a person who struggles is someone who refuses to give in or give up, and does not easily break under pressure because we try to explain away our ways or behavior to anybody for any reason. Struggle means we don’t let somebody else’s whims decide the limits, boundaries, or restrictions that are meant to make us help others but in doing so when don’t make the effort of choosing our own purpose we become a mere servant or slave of someone else.

Assuming someone else’s purpose is true and correct, we are assuming their best interests are going to elevate us or allow us to rise along with them. Helping others puts us into a position of inferiority, in a subservient position where our destiny is meant to be the same as everybody else’s, we merely follow somebody else’s desires and whims at expect the same result for ourselves, but if we serve somebody else for no other reason then to placate their whims we might become a slave to their whims or opinions. And put their comfort far above our purpose.

“Differentiation is how to figure who you are and express your truth that you boldly stand for.”

The second component really shares something in common with the first component, and that is that both keep the Sith powerful and free when we don’t hide behind a mask, the false hope and false notions of compliance for the sake of fitting in, to give their power over to others, and make personal sacrifices for the groups desires, which amounts to foregoing ones purpose would mean making a misery and failure the only outcome, by self-sacrificing for the comfort of others one’s purpose for existing, our enjoyment and excitement. Ones purpose can make us free and powerful when we temper those proclivities or impulses with wisdom, the wisdom of effective decision making to choose between compliance for the sake of comfort or to gain betterment or empowerment. The aspirations/will, vision, values, and exalting the self is usually sacrificed for the complacency and temporary happiness of others. When we do so we give up a piece of our soul, when we give up on our will, vision, or values, on the expression of our very energy then we become miserable, comfortable, safe, and mediocre.

All Sith take on mythos or vision that either fills us with inspiration, sparks great passion, or awe. Mythos and vision are extraordinarily rare in this day and age, and Sith’s dark knowledge, tactics, the practical know-how through the Sith code, force cultivation methods, and wisdom which Sith crave are usually contained in holocrons. Constitute our own beliefs and passions into the temporal world, where your mission, cause, purpose or goals has the respect and influence by being the most compelling and isn’t easily abrogated, that is victory, power is extending one’s will. Our will, the inner states or traits of real strength cannot be thwarted. The primacy of spirit over the political and economic is the last and best part of our worldview. Destiny means to find and discover what makes you tick, adhering your truth means pushing through adversity or difficulties to achieve your personal goals, creative endeavours, wellbeing, or career.

The civilisations vitality is first born out of a tribes, clans or barbarians, who don’t just value their ego and power, but overvalue it to the point where there is maximum incentive to seek political power and pursue their own greatness. Whereas what happens in the late stage of a civilisation is where moralizing becomes the norm. Equality of outcomes, human rights, and deciding on things by ones level of conformity to the outgroups in society. Being conformist right down to ones core. Which lacks personal, moral or social values of any sort except almost a value- self-sacrifice which defers values to just what other people tend to think that influences one without fully aware of why we think and act as emotionless robot or economic unit might.

The first step is the three tests of Codreanu, the mountain of suffering, the forest of wild beasts, and the swamps of dejection. The first step is the inner action, to not refuse that inner action that family, society, or government wants us to reject arbitrarily, is that the society we live in and family, and governments will attempt to refuse us from pursuing a life of honor, mutual trust, and belonging. So, they will demand that we abridge our rules, honor, and standards by not working towards realizing these elements or aspects of ourselves that earns respect and pride. If we aren’t free to be ourselves and unapologetically affirm our ways and behaviours that may create order, rectitude, pride and power. And yet there seems to be little in the way of leeway by families, society, and governments in allowing us to live our way that shows off our honor rules and standards without having to constantly justify our existence.

The second step is the role, lifestyle and inner development that seeks to face external reality by not wanting to defy our own purpose, a rational purpose is to seek to fulfil your happiness and to maximise that happiness and explain and prove your choice to yourself to a degree sufficient to understand that what you’ll be doing as part of your role or ideal you’ll not be sacrificing for your choice, but if that’s what you want everything you do is worth it because that’s what I want and you’ll enjoy it even if it’s difficult.

To go on the offense and try to convince those who think similarly that our will, vision, or values are better than the limited hierarchy and bourgeoisie environment that pressures us to conform that we happen to be in. This step is about pushing past the conformity of the external world by pushing our purpose first so that we can take on our role that’s true to us. Where the essential value of respect is lost then also you may have to fight, conquer by working in the shadows, or leave. Purpose means we don’t let anyone tell us what to do if it gets in the way of our purpose for long, in the way of our long-term gain for long at all. If it violates our principles of self-development, growth, and mastery then leave for something better or greater elsewhere so that we can fulfil our role. A lifestyle of freedom and purpose must be sought instead of which tries to make us think and act in a way that is just to get along with others, to not respect or see our self-worth in the way we desire, so to confuse compliance with success. If you don’t see yourself gaining self-development, growth, and mastery in the opportunities ahead, or because you seem to be assuming and following somebody else’s purpose, whims, or opinion which has limited your lifestyle or the traditional way or law of action.

The third step is dejection inwardly and outwardly, internally and externally towards merely being a cog in the machine. Rectitude and order if it’s not being upheld well because you personally do not predict success then dejection may be a major concern for us all. A sufficient satisfactory degree of confidence and devotion to one’s purpose is required to climb any mountain. Not being put on the right path means we begin to believe that we cannot see the next few steps ahead of us and thus no longer predict how the journey will unfold or because the cause does no longer has the benefits you thought it would have, so uncertainty in either uncertainty due to insecurity or uncertainty due to few good outcomes. Dejection is the most difficult because it deals with the chaos of regular challenges, growth, and difficulty, if you can’t see the road ahead or judge everything by the utility for you, then you may think there isn’t a perfect set of steps towards your ultimate potential. Overcome this rocky terrain and hard times by being loyal to your mission.

We are interfering with the weakening and decaying order, we usually bring selfhood back by pursuing our path and our rules without betraying the self, the reality within by simply remaining passive, inactive, and suppressing our selfhoods to satisfy a corrupt and nepotistic order. You must be allowed to defy their prescribed path forward, if it does not meet your needs or wants, for your purpose, if you can’t defy their path for your own path, to get proper internal motivation and external progress, then it may be best to leave for a better organisation that doesn’t respect you after some time.

The only evil here is where people wish to prescribe the happiness of other people above your own and pushing their purpose on you through force or coercion, or even just prescribing it, is a really no good at all and is a morally abhorrent. Because he or she is trying to suggest that their purpose is so important that it must override your sensibilities, your version of right or wrong, and what’s best for you is up to your mind, using your mind to your utmost and prove its worth all the effort. Their whims, opinions, desires, or irrational urges becomes your existence, and by assuming what they prescribe as the happiness of others over your own means they are devoid of selfhood, there is no justification for their existence, and they have no values of their own, at least none the they have contemplated, they think everyone just conforms to what others in society expect or desire. Your existence must be an end itself, otherwise there is no basis for morality, you become merely a sacrificial lamb to satisfy and to make someone else more comfortable. Means your existence must be an end itself otherwise your inner house is not there yet or in order. The best thing for everyone is a ordered freedom, where people can be expected to work together and play by rules of etiquette of those who own the property, and we need only to express ourselves to be happy.

While Sith provide guidance on the multitude of paths out there, the Sith always are encouraged to seek their destiny as they see fit, we can create the universe we enjoy and will our reality as we desire. By differentiation what I merely mean is to be true to ourselves by the process of passion that reveals the self by fully engaging in struggle, which reveals one’s self-definition; as we become aligned with our identity then it becomes easier to break our chains or limits, whether they be self-limits, or self-imposed limits. Clarity and purpose is what turns into will/aspirations. The self-definition or self-concept is the will/aspirations, the vision, and the values. The Sith commit to this by going against nurture or nature, this comes from a place of strength, embracing all the strong parts of ourselves and destroying the weak parts of ourselves that held us back. The Sith promise to themselves to unapologetically live in accordance with their concept or definition of their selfhood, to continually devote oneself to what we personally find exciting, what makes our blood boil, or what makes our spirit soar, our purpose or personal goals will be what we wish to achieve or become. Struggle includes; physical training, mental endurance, self-control exercises, and resilience and discipline strategies.

Struggle is the mechanism that allows one to grow and advance at a much faster rate than a normal person does, a person who struggles is someone who refuses to give in or give up, and does not easily break under pressure because we try to explain away our ways or behaviour to anybody for any reason. Struggle means we don’t let somebody else’s whims decide the limits, boundaries, or restrictions of helping others and our expense, in doing so when don’t make the effort of choosing our own purpose we become a mere servant or slave of someone else.

Assuming someone else’s purpose is true and correct, we are assuming their best interests are going to elevate us or allow us to rise along with them. Helping others puts us into a position of inferiority, in a subservient position if merely follow somebody else’s desires and whims at expect the same result for ourselves, we will be disappointed. Helping somebody else for no other reason than to placate them, we might become a slave to their whims or opinions. And put their comfort far above our purpose. Do the reverse of that notion, put purpose first, put your first principles first, put your rules or values first, your group first, and the pick the beliefs that make the others first principles possible. It’s that simple.

Differentiation means doing what is required to fulfill your vitality, vision, and destiny, your destiny- the needs, wants, and desires of the self, capabilities you wish to embody to reach your full potential, and know where you are heading towards, your wishes, once you fulfil wishes you gain success, fulfilling your aspirations and to achieve personal goals, wellbeing, relationships or career advancement. The metaphysical authority we desire is the inclination and power to determine our own path, and the culture of metaphysical authority is about striving to become who we are. What is that? Who we are, what we are capable of, and where we are heading in career and personal life, where we want to be is intentional and purposeful, fuelled by passion and a unquenchable or unextinguishable drive to do great things. The only way to achieve this is to seriously and consistently work on yourself, top to bottom, to become free and powerful, a culture and an identity is required. Culture is a freedom culture because it emphasises creating an ideal future together, working together with mutual gain, benefit and support. Differentiation is found in the core values which contributes to your stated personal goals and that creates momentum for your purpose, adjusting your approach as you go, as you get better information to gain strength, perfection and grow. Differentiation is found through the ideal future we wish to create and claiming it through our decisions daily, regularly and consistently to realize that future we choose to, and work together with others to realize the vitality, vision, and destiny. Culture is found through self-development, growth, and transformation.

The freedom or self-actualisation of the three steps to realize your destiny is a key part of differentiation that Sith are no slouch on. Make purpose and passion (desire increases vitality), part of your life again and you will gain self-satisfaction that most do not ever find.

The key to realizing your freedom and thus your destiny, the beginning of mastery work, is in three basic steps:

Third [part of duty] is the commitment to make the world more suited for all. By pursuing our small part to play we begin to realize the larger truth of the organic state. We first we adopt self-awareness by being assisted to find intent, meaning, and happiness. Then self-determination by acknowledging what it takes to achieve our goals, and so we know and acknowledge our innate nature and strive to realize our ultimate potential. Finally, self-expression, by committing to what we are meant to do, finding that when we do what we enjoy doing it not only does it mean excitement and joy and realize some dormant energy that revitalize our vocation, but also, we don’t require a lot of artificial enforcement to commit to our responsibilities, work and station.

And what is that we enjoy doing really? You must be able to decide on your own what accords to your sense of desires, ambition, and love. What accords with you and what sparks and ignites your passion into a roaring flame, can and will be the reason you make your mark on the galaxy. Creating great works, forming unbreakable bonds of brotherhood or love of a partner, or spiritual experience that brings about bliss.

In that while beliefs can grant you power (idea into realization), you must know who you are (self-awareness), you must break free from all limitations and strive for your ultimate potential in all ways that suit you (self-determination), and you must do what you brings you happiness which is to realize your goals, your purpose, your will, your vision, and your values, and by knowing what it takes to achieve it well is a requirement for basically setting yourself on a course to success, we do what we find ambition, bliss or enjoyment in creative pursuit of great works, spiritual experience by the bliss of a higher purpose, or finding love through a partner you belong with. Its desire, ambition, or love in which culminates in achievement and internalizing the inner states that suit you best (self-expression). It’s a individual filled to the brim with passion for a purpose, a vision, ambitions, that person is not easily swayed or fooled by others, to steer them away from the prize, the goal towards something that requires all ones efforts to achieve and maybe even several years to complete, a purpose is someone who knows their needs well and has taken care of those needs for the most part, has wants that bring out ones passions, ones emotions, and ones instincts, and has desires that go beyond the mere physical or temporal, into creation, building, conquest, submission, enlightenment, or endarknment. Towards . To be anybody of worth you need to find happiness and you can’t simply find that by somebody else’s definition of what that would mean, or their purpose, you must discover that on your own. If you rely on somebody else to determine your happiness for you then you are in effect grovelling and sacrificing for their happiness and you are merely asking for permission to live in accordance with their whims, opinions, or desires.

“Differentiation is how to figure who you are and express your selfhood that you boldly stand for by a adherence to who you are, what your capabilities are and know them well in regards to what you wish to achieve, and your purpose, the thing that drives you towards your full potential, the key to fulfilment and complete potential is within the grasp of your will, head, heart, and hands, your body and soul.”

Differentiation is how to figure who you are and express your selfhood that you boldly stand for. Differentiation means the motivation you need to struggle, and shared struggle and mutual growth is what culture of freedom is about, and differentiation is inner action, self-awareness and integration. The second component of culture really shares something in common with the first component, and that is that both keep the Sith powerful and free when we don’t hide behind a mask, the false hope and false notions of compliance for the sake of fitting in, to give their power over to others, and make personal sacrifices for the groups desires, which amounts to foregoing ones purpose would mean making a misery and failure the only outcome, by self-sacrificing for the comfort of others one’s purpose for existing, our enjoyment and excitement. One’s purpose can make us free and powerful when we temper those proclivities or impulses with wisdom, the wisdom of effective decision making to choose between compliance for the sake of comfort or to gain betterment or empowerment.

Your vision is something you voluntarily take upon yourself, a mission to realize an ideal future, a vision requires a cause that you will continually work upon to realize in the future but also day by day. A vision is in beauty, valour, power, and excellence for instance. An ethos, set of decrees, or a new creed as examples.

Destiny means to find and discover what makes you tick, adhering your selfhood means pushing through adversity or difficulties to achieve your personal goals, creative endeavours, wellbeing, or career. Make duty your instinct.

Letting someone decide what is suitable for you and what will bring you happiness is abrogating your moral duty to assign significance and meaning to things that suit your will, thoughts, reasons, beliefs, and passions, and aligning your actions with these things that bring you energy and brings you closer to the future you choose and your ideal self. The real world we desire is the world that serves us, the world that Sith also want is a world that at the very least will not condemn our values if we choose ones that serve our interests and happiness.

Betterment and empowerment are the keys to realizing that differentiation and freedom in a way that makes sense to us, to act upon our freedom through self-development and growth for vitality, vision, and destiny. But this is no easy process, it takes determination and grit, and a sense of individualism and rationality that few are willing to apply to their selection of role, speciality, and discipline. We don’t try to find out what we want out of life properly, we don’t find out everything there is to know about what we would be doing on a regular basis as part of the role we wish to do. In an effort to make this less vague and merely subjective there is a method to become perfect and work together to immortalize ourselves and realize the future that we choose.

With these aspects realized in due time your path will be set and within the order you can become indispensable in the social hierarchy so that you can acquire gain and advantage to realize your will or agenda and of course, to fulfil your ambitions, needs or wants, never chaining and stifling the potential of its members or the adherent.

A true discipline does not mean doing stuff we don’t like or feel like doing, it brings one to the heights of fulfilment and joy, the enjoyment is found by setting and following through on self-development goals, of having accomplished shared goals and that passion and purpose is found in the thought and praxis that structures one’s life and that leads to gain the power to get ones way often. Self-development is for the strength of belief, conviction, and character, resolve built up by continual self-improvement and learning, and drills or exercise to create something new for oneself by way of habits, that only discipline can achieve, a modern innovation.

The Sith survive and thrive because of passion, darkness and strife or rivalry, these qualities are ascendant in this world, we simply don’t lie to ourselves about our deep inner truths of our existence and we embrace the power it brings. We embrace strife and struggle, the jedi minded ignore their fears at great expense of their development or progress.

The Jedi fail and blame Sith because they are complacent, weak because they are ignorant of their emotions, their anger or fear, their darkness catches them off guard in moments of passion, hate or fear, and they hoard power despite claiming they disregard attachment.

Arbitrary authority and fear of real power blinds their followers and their failure often occurs when others discover they where lied to. Passion, darkness and healthy competitiveness or strife breeds strength and ambition, and leads to much more power after purposeful action or sometimes by deep contemplation.

“Light and dark are forces that when based upon identity can be used creatively and so, can be a force to create, destroy, preserve, create chaos, or transform.” (Edwin Ferreira)

  18. I finished the #Acolyte. I liked it overall. I wish there was a season two. I have a gut feeling that if it had only cost $100 million to make, they would have done it. But it cost a staggering $200+ million. That's hard to justify unless it was a monumental blockbuster hit.

The fight scenes were just filthy fantastic, though. Best fight scenes in any Star Wars production.

If I were a filthy rich billionaire, I'd give them 200 million and say, "Go ahead, make season 2."

  19. Disney+ has a special $1.99 for 3 months Basic sub going, so I resubscribed to catch up on a bunch of stuff.

I've watched the first 2 episodes of the #Acolyte. I really like it so far. It feels like a Star Wars story to me. I don't understand why so many people have a bug up their asses about this show.

You know what bothers me? Shows like the new Matlock where lawyers don't act like lawyers. I guess maybe people think the Jedi aren't acting like Jedi or something here? I don't know, man.

  20. An Indian music score is witchy in both “#AgathaAllAlong” and “#Acolyte

Both because the character is a real witch playing an ersatz woo merchant, and because the minor scales sound exotic

  23. Related to Jackpot, though—#Awkwafina is in #QuizLady with #SandraOh on Hulu/Disney+ and I watched that movie more than once. It was pretty hilarious and at times heartfelt.

Since I mentioned Disney+: I read that the #Acolyte S2 was canceled and am kinda bummed since I’d have liked to see more.

If you can think of anything I might enjoy, please feel free to make a recommendation. 😊

  27. @MidnightCipherDragon I've talked about this at length to some of my friends. I'll try and be succinct.

Communities of hobbiests have a tendancy to attract a certain kind of person. Probably because the hobby is emblematic of some sort of shared value. There's a sort of hobbiest in the science fiction and fantasy space which is given to rigidity of thought: they seek to create an empire of knowledge, with them as the king. They don't want the lore to change. They don't want the lore to become more accessible. They want it to stay the same way it always has been. Presumably so they can retain their community status as knowledgeable.

Don't get me started on the whole Vs. bullshit.

A lot of fandom there's not a lot of space for thinking critically about media. Especially in toxic parts of fandom--where deviating from the party line marks you as, well, deviant of thought and ought to be run out.

That's somewhat why I like fanfiction. It's a space populated by people who are like "rule of cool it" "headcanon this" and "what if the lore was different lets explore." rather than "Noooooo but the facts say...."

Mainstream social media always pushes the most controversial takes to the front. I remember when watching the #Acolyte I enjoyed it. I saw other people who also enjoyed it on fediverse.

But twitter was a toxic shithole. The algorithm was just driving negative posts to the top and... it didn't feel nice.

Honestly. What I would say isn't that manga anime gaming and comics became overrun with toxic incels, but that mainstream society became overrun with toxic incels.

...just look at a certain major political party in the US to see a mainstream society overrun with incelology.

  32. It's no secret that I disliked the writing, direction & many other aspects of The Acolyte so I'm not exactly crying over its cancelation, but I did appreciate the doors it opened in the Star Wars canon:

✅ A comic about Jedi Kelnacca
✅ Cortosis, Force memory wipes, Kyber crystal bleeding, Darth Plagueis
