Matt walked along the beach and saw Kabuki and Stitches chatting. This should be good, he thought to himself. As he walked over, he heard Kabuki say, "It might toughen you up if you wan to use more...colorful language."

Uh oh, Matt thought, I know where this was going. He certainly did not.

"Colorful?" Stitches said, "I love it. I'll talk about your red stripes or Nam's blue shirt or all the pretty colors of your holiday sweater!"
Kabuki just shook his head and said, "No, that's..." he stopped himself mid-sentence. "That's fine, kiddo. You do you." Kabuki smirked and walked away. He knew it wasn't going to make any sense to try to explain it to Stitches any further.

I was traveling IRL for Thanksgiving and didn't play Animal Crossing while I was gone. I ended up missing both Turkey Day and Kabuki's birthday.

So, I had to stop by and at least give Kabuki a present.

Been dealing with this chest cold since Thursday. Today, I feel both better and worse. It is irritating and pernicious. Been coughing more today than yesterday, even as I mostly feel better. Ugh.

In 1994, Johnny Cash released his 81st album and the start of a series of "American Recordings." They were a return to roots, but with a variety of modern artists helping write the songs or Johnny Cash performed covers.

To recreate the cover, I brought a cranky old man villager, Kabuki, to help me out. He did a great job playing the role of Johnny Cash on this cover!

Moduland's Cat Council decided to take a relaxing day off this Saturday and head to the arcade. They invited a few friends along the way to join them.

Happy Friday, folks.

Because I often play ACNH in the evening after work / my kids go to bed, I had set my clock back so I could play with sunlight in the game most of the time. However, lately, I have been playing more often with the game being set to nighttime.

That's when I found this trio of cuties playing with sparklers in the plaza. They didn't even notice me taking their picture. They just kept on enjoying their time together with their sparklers.

This week, for Caturday, the Cat Council has gotten together...for a poetry slam!

Raymond started off by reciting some of his favorite sonnets from Shakespeare. He finished with Sonnet 145 to some rousing applause from Ankha and Kabuki. Kabuki has some classic haiku lined up ready to read, and Ankha had a small book with "Poe" written in the cover, so I have a feeling that tone is going to shift with her.

Since this month is Wedding Season in Animal Crossing and Pride Month IRL, I have, in the past, made some Pride themed wedding scenes.

My favorite pairing? Muffy and Étoile. They're such a cute couple with such different aesthetics.

I've done this before, but I had to do it again and I just love how this little wedding scene turned out. Thanks to Kabuki for performing the ceremony.

Last night, Filbert officially left Moduland - leaving an open plot and an open place in all of our hearts.

Before he left, Shino gathered a few friends to go have a fun time with Filbert. They went to visit an aquarium with Filbert! He really enjoyed the fish and some of the hyper-realistic models they had on-site.

After the aquarium, everyone said some tearful goodbyes.

That little weirdo will be missed.

The video of the band with choreographed dance moves hopping from treadmill to treadmill was unforgettable. Hope this scene captures some of that!
