We've been in #austria today, looking down to the #achensee. It's been a lovely hike. Warm but nice. Now relaxing with a good coffee on the couch.

(But still thinking about all the cyclists... Should I go cycling 🤔)

Hier ein paar Fotos vom #Achensee. An der Uferstraße gegenüber von #Pertisau (drittes Bild) stand ein älteres Paar und spielte #Alphorn. Genau als ich dazu kam, wehte von Pertisau ein Glockenschlag herüber. Ich kann euch gar nicht beschreiben, wie ergreifend schön diese Szene war. Für eine Zeit war die Welt in Ordnung.
Hab mich kurz mit den beiden unterhalten, sie sagten, sie hätten lange nach einer passenden Stelle gesucht. Die sie hatten, war 💯 %.😍

Erster Tag der #Radtour in die Alpen. Nach einem späten Frühstück ungefähr um 11h in #München los, Kaffee in #Lenggries mit Blick auf die Gleitschirmflieger. Abendessen am #Achensee sollte machbar sein.

Today I completed my first ski tour of the season at the Christlum above Lake Achensee. The route followed the piste, and early-winter snow already covered the surrounding forest and the higher slopes. 😊

Ooof, we did some longer-than-expected tour from #lenggries to #achensee. I have taken several recordings in Strava because we made some stops in-between, so the picture shows half of the route and only the way back, which was mostly going downhill. A new record for us, total of ~70km.

I would love to come back here to a bit better weather (there was a heat wave) and take a boat ride or do some hiking, Achensee is really nice and big.

And last but not least: Last import (I guess) is about a nice hike along lake #achensee .
Well - give it a try, it's not very long and I am - hopefully - finished with transferring my videos.

The hike itself is REALLY beautiful.

I'm back with blogging! 😄

I just finished my blog about a hike that we did Start of November near the #Achensee . We knew that we should better decide for an area a bit to the south so that we could avoid fog and clouds.

And I must admit, it was the absolutely right choice! It was a beautiful walk with lots of sunshine.

The return we did by boat as my wife's news shoes gave her blisters at the heel.

Hi friends, we spent the day #hiking along the #achensee, #tyrol.

We went there to avoid the low hanging clouds at home. Unfortunately my wife got a blister at her foot, so we went back by ship which was nice as well.

We also gathered quite some litter. The amount of tissues along the way was - surprisingly high. 😕

Nevertheless it's been a beautiful day!

Hey friends! I'm just driving home from a conference and think back about a nice summer hike we did.

At this spot it got really hot and we were just glad that we were on the way back down and not up.
Not just due to the heat but also for having this view in frond of us.

Hey friends, it's snowing here and we even have the ground covered by snow!

My heart is already more into summer, that's also why I want to remind myself to this gorgeous hike in the #achensee region in the #rofan mountains.

It got really warm that day. But due to starting early and going up in the shades it only was a very nice day.

Hey, even though it's snowing outside. I wanted to share some memories of a hike mid summer in the #rofan area.

We checked the maps before to have the ascend in the cool shade and be higher up when it's getting hot.

And then it was a wonderful #hike in pretty much silence. Just very beautiful

That day in the #rofangebirge was a bit remarkable. I totally forgot that temperature decreases with increasing elevation and that "overcast" can also mean "light rain".

Well. Nothing serious happened but I learned to prepare better next time.
