  1. Tech billionaires consider a threat everything from documentation to whistleblowing.

“Another way to look at this is that billionaires have joined a war on professional administrative class of public servants precisely because of their proximity to formal mechanisms of accountability.”

  2. I'm no fan of Reeves or Starmer or the finance companies, but from my own experiences buying #cars on #finance (since 2019) and even inspecting the #accounts of a #dealer in my region which went bust a few years ago I think the Supreme Court's decision was pragmatic - there's still opportunities for #compensation, but anything harsher would result in the finance companies walking away from the market, preventing younger working folk having access to reasonable cars, stalling the adoption of EVs amongst this generation (few could afford to buy even a used one at cash price!) and causing medium size independent dealers (who depend on the finance company to finance their stock) to go out of business (there's already many closures and layoffs as it is!)

  3. Dear fellow #Americans,

As you may or may not be aware, we at the National Security Agency are currently engaged in a never-ending cyber war against various malicious #hackers, nation-states, and other #nefarious entities. But don't worry, we've got it all under control.

In the meantime, please make sure to use strong, unique #passwords for all of your online #accounts (because, let's be real, you're the only thing standing between us and total #cyber annihilation). And while you're at it, go ahead and update your #security software too (because nothing says "I love America" like shelling out more money to some #BigTech company).

In conclusion, we've got this whole cyber war thing on lock, so just sit back, relax, and continue living your online lives as if everything is totally normal.

    Sincerely,
The all-knowing, all-powerful National Security Agency
