I may have alienated people in my discord group by suggesting we check whether anyone needs alt text. It's unlikely because we all play with very sharp knives on a regular basis but I would very much like to know alt text is unnecessary before I assume anything. Since I didn't want to put anyone on the spot I suggested they reach out to the admin if it's needed. We were in Wellington (#SouthAfrica, not New Zealand) last week, getting our seventeen-year-old foster daughter settled into school for the year. She's in boarding school in Paarl, so she spent the whole month of December with us, but then had to go back.
We drove down, and did it in two days, electing to sleep over in Colesburg. And I must say, if you're passing through Colesburg and need a place to stay, then I can highly recommend the Chrizaan Guest House. It's run by a really sweet lady who has built a couple of self-catering rooms on her property. Very reasonable prices, the rooms are well-sized and furnished, and the hostess is a wonderful person who made us feel welcome.
No website, but they're on all the #accomodation websites, so just Google "chrizaan colesburg" and it should come up. :-)
