C'est comme le vous-fff ou le merci-chhh (épithèse fricative, c'est-à-dire une consonne qu'on rajoute après certaines voyelles, et en plus ça peut comboter: merci-chhh-in)
Il y a des traits saillants (associés à quelque chose de précis, par exemple le snobisme) qu'on ne considère généralement pas faire partie d'un accent.
Il faudrait donc parler de phonostyle, ce serait plus exact! -

Has anyone noticed that trump speaks with some features of the #Iowan accent? I don't think it's the accent exactly, more the cadence or enunciation maybe? I noticed this when listening to interviewees at the Iowa state fair.
I then discovered that the Iowan accent is considered the most friendly and wondered if he'd adopted this way of speaking purposefully. Fake like his tan, hair, height, weight etc.
Would love to get some opinions.

Part of being a Southerner is spending a lot of your time dismayed at what non-Southerners think a Southern accent is. I spent so much of my life baffled at the critical praise Kevin Spacey got for doing the hammiest Foghorn Leghorn shit in every single role set in the South. It was always really bad, a like community theater bad, especially by the time of House of Cards which was goddawful.
