Ok, I am happy to admit, that I am somewhat biased (spending 2 years at a smaller institution on the westcoast) - but reading this book clarified an awful lot of modern tech industry behaviour! "Tech to rule the world!"
What a shit show VC culture seems to be!! No, not seed or pre-seed funding, **pre-idea** funding appears to be on vogue nowadays! (And I do not talk about the scientific screw-ups of the former Stanford Pres.)
