Well, shit. The tweet claiming Biden had stated Ukraine must win was wrong. It's not Biden, just a "senior official" so it means nothing. The Biden administration has all along been split on whether to freeze the conflict, as Sullivan and Milley want, or help Ukraine win, as Austin and probably Blinken wants. Only Biden can decide that the US goal is Ukrainian victory - and he hasn't.
So I'm sorry for misleading, the Sullivan-Scholz-Macron plan may still be in effect. I wanted to believe, and let my feelings run away with me. I apologize.
