I try desperately to not succumb to #ScandalFatigue, but it's impossible. 😞Something I heard on the radio this morning made me think:
"What happened to all those people who were crammed into undersized Detention Centers or deported to a Maximum Security Torture Center in El Salvador?"
Are they still there? The Media seems to have lost interest after #AbregoGarcia was brought home.

Just like many of us searched the released #EpsteinFiles for prominent names, I took a shot at looking how the #TrumpAdministration would stage the #KilmarÁbregoGarcía case on https://aliens.gov/ —turns out, they didn't at all.
Garcá, a father from Maryland, was arrested Hyattsville, Maryland for loitering.

Sadly, the #TrumpAdmin is still pushing hard to deport #AbregoGarcia, even to a third-party country that he has no ties to and knows nothing about (in Africa, for example).
Still, it's nice to see that the judge dismissed the ridiculous case against him.

The Trump administration is urging Xinis to lift her August order barring Abrego Garcia's deportation and allow the government to remove him to Liberia, arguing that the administration has gone through all the necessary steps to deport Abrego Garcia.
The Justice Department said that Abrego Garcia, who remains in federal immigration detention, was interviewed in October by a U.S. government asylum officer, and that officer determined that he failed to prove he would face persecution or torture in Liberia. August 25, 2025 915am ET#AbregoGarcia on Monday filed a lawsuit challenging his current detention and any deportation to Uganda or any other country until a trial is held at an immigration court.
In a statement after his detention, Kristi Noem, the secretary of the #US #DHS, said he is being processed "for removal to Uganda."
At the core of Abrego Garcia's case is the question of due process under President #Trump's aggressive crackdown on undocumented immigrants in the US. The man was arrested in March and sent to a notorious prison in #ElSalvador despite a 2019 court order barring his #deportation to the Central American country because of the "well-founded fear" of gang persecution there. The Trump administration conceded his removal was an "administrative error" and returned him to the US in June to face criminal charges.
