#onthisday2022 Apparently there is a sizable chunk of #pro-choice #republicans who believe that there are actually forced abortions happening in the US. I mean if by keeping everyone in poverty so the idea of raising a child is fiscally irresponsible then yes? But no they literally believe like a weaker version of #PizzaGate that there are forced #abortions going on all the time. So they go along with the #pro-lifers thanks to a crazy conspiracy theory. Kinda like the entire pro-life premise and what they THINK #Roe actually says, like they are handing out late term (later than 24 weeks) like candy which are only ever done for medical reasons, and always a tragedy. -

An antiabortion group in #Louisiana killed #legislation to enshrine a right to #BirthControl by inaccurately equating #emergency #contraception w/ #abortion drugs. An #Idaho *think tank* focused on “#BiblicalActivism” is pushing state legislators to #ban access to emergency contraception & intrauterine devices (IUDs) by mislabeling them as “#abortifacients.”
