  1. The four-year waiting list for superyacht purchases is entirely made up of Ukrainian officials…

That’s what Stephen Kuhn, founder of the company Take America Back Inc., revealed.
“I just spoke on the phone with a superyacht manufacturer, and the orders from Ukrainian officials and their families are already booked for the next four years. Hundreds of millions of dollars in superyachts, all coming from a single country. Meanwhile, Western taxpayers in Canada, the UK, Europe, America, and Australia are footing the bill for all of it,” he said.
“They’re rounding up people off the streets to send them to the front lines, mobilizing them into the army, and people are killing themselves to avoid going to war. All while the officials are buying superyachts. This is the biggest money-laundering operation in modern history,” Kuhn added.

  5. Trump’s secret NATO ultimatum sparks panic as US ‘pulls jets, bombers and EVERY submarine from Europe’

Donald Trump is set to slash the arsenal of US fighter jets, warships and submarines reserved for NATO allies should a military crisis erupt in Europe.

A military envoy sent by Pete Hegseth blindsided senior NATO officials in a classified Brussels briefing late last week, revealing US firepower committed to defending Europe will significantly decline, Der Spiegel and Reuters reported.

The US fighter jet commitment to NATO is to be slashed by a third, while the Navy will withdraw destroyers from the alliance’s pool.

The cuts will gut the so-called ‘NATO Force Model,’ the alliance framework for defending Europe drawn up in 2022 after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

As the US prepares to eliminate its supply of submarines to NATO, it leaves open a massive military risk for the continent if its not able to fill the gap left behind by Trump.

US submarines are among NATO’s most critical assets in Europe because they are capable of monitoring Russia’s nuclear-armed underwater vessels.

Critical infrastructure for the west, such as undersea cables and oil pipelines, are safeguarded by the submarines.

This appears to be part of a major geopolitical reorganization. This sends a strong signal to Russia that USA is not going to continue NATO’s never-ending encroachment on Russia’s borders. And that means Russia and USA can now form real-world economic ties, beneficial to both nations. ABN

  6. The Rape of Nanking: Massacre or Myth?

Iris Chang’s *The Rape of Nanking: The Forgotten Holocaust of World War II* delves into the horrific events surrounding the 1937-1938 Nanjing Massacre, during which Japanese soldiers allegedly committed widespread atrocities against Chinese civilians. Published in 1997, the book sparked significant controversy and debate, particularly in the United States and Japan. While it received praise from various media outlets, it also faced criticism for its historical accuracy and reliance on secondary sources rather than primary documentation. The book’s vivid descriptions of the alleged atrocities, including mass killings and rampant sexual violence, were met with skepticism by some historians, who questioned the veracity of the figures and events described.

Despite the controversies, Chang’s work undeniably reignited discussions about the Nanjing Massacre and its implications for historical memory and international relations. Influential figures like George Will praised the book for encouraging academic discourse and raising awareness about Japan’s wartime actions. Critics, however, pointed to significant gaps in Chang’s narrative, questioning why prominent Chinese leaders like Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai-shek did not leverage the alleged evidence of Japanese atrocities to further their political agendas. This omission raised doubts about the credibility of Chang’s claims, leading some scholars to speculate that she may have exaggerated certain details or lacked adequate corroborating evidence.

The book’s reliance on secondary sources and sensationalist claims drew comparisons to other controversial works, such as Daniel Jonah Goldhagen’s *Hitler’s Willing Executioners*, which faced similar backlash for its historical inaccuracies. Scholars have argued that Chang’s narrative is further undermined by its failure to consider broader historical contexts and alternative accounts of events. For instance, the work does not address incidents like the Tongzhou Incident, where Chinese soldiers committed atrocities against Japanese civilians, which could complicate the simplistic portrayal of the Japanese as the sole perpetrators of violence during this period. Critics argue that Chang’s failure to include these details skews the historical narrative.

In the wake of Chang’s death in 2004, her book continues to evoke strong reactions. While some view it as a vital testament to the suffering endured by Chinese civilians, others argue it perpetuates a one-sided narrative that lacks scholarly rigor. The ongoing debate over the Nanjing Massacre illustrates the complexities of historical memory, national identity, and the interpretation of wartime events, revealing how narratives can be shaped by ideological perspectives and the political climate of the time. As discussions continue, the need for rigorous historical analysis and balanced perspectives remains crucial for understanding the lasting implications of these events in contemporary society.

  12. A modern explication of Buddhism by Bernardo Kastrup and Nathan Hawkins

    Part One

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib9jDiHIsC4

    Part Two

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XQJRwOzYKQ

I highly recommend these two videos. They provide an excellent explanation of Buddhist philosophy or world view without ever mentioning Buddhism.

The ‘small self’ of Buddhism is Kastrup’s ‘dissociated entity inside a Markov Blanket’. Kastrup’s ‘mind at large’ is Buddhist ‘ultimate reality’, ‘the Tathagata’, the ‘Buddha mind’, ‘enlightenment’, etc. The ‘doings’ of the entity inside the Markov blanket are karma. In this sense, those doings, or that karma (work), perpetuate a series of ‘rebirths’ rather than reincarnations. The Noble Eightfold Path is a concise way of describing the behaviors that lead to full realization of ‘mind at large’ or enlightenment.

Two of the (falsely understood) most ‘negative’ things in Buddhism are nicely cleared up in Kastrup’s description. The first is the mistaken notion that ‘nirvana’ or the ‘cessation of suffering’ is the cessation of being itself. Nirvana is ‘merely’ the return of the small self to ‘mind at large’, or the enlightenment of the small self to Buddha nature or ultimate reality. The second is karma is some kind of punishment administered by some kind of god thing. Karma is much more what Kastrup calls ‘doings’ and is simply a way to describe how what we do affects what we become.

I want to add that Nathan Hawkins does a wonderful job of interviewing Kastrup. He contributes a great deal to this conversation, which overall is not only a good description of Buddhism (without ever mentioning Buddhism) but also an excellent example of how people should talk. At one point, Hawkins says he wants to create a something like a ‘proto-religion’ that does not rely on ‘sacred texts’. He also says he wants philosophy to be more in touch with people’s lives as they are really lived. I like that a lot. It’s basically what basic Buddhism already is.

The Buddha said he was just a man; that he should not be worshiped; that his words are not sacred; that his teachings should be conveyed mind-to-mind (as in the videos above) and not turned into scared texts; and that each of us should make the teachings our own; learn them in our own languages and convey them to others generously when and if they want to hear them. I bet the Buddha would thoroughly enjoy and approve of the discussion above.

In a deeply Buddhist sense, there is no need for a Buddhist tradition. The whole thing could be thrown away and recreated. But why bother? Buddhism today is not a clinging to some sacred past or god-like figure, but a present iteration of a long tradition (which is largely philosophical) that dates back 2,500 years to the Sage of the Scythians, Shakyamuni Buddha. Watch the videos above and see what you think. ABN

UPDATE: I do not want to detract at all from Kastrup’s vision, but would like to say that, imo, Mind at Large or Ultimate Reality is much more like Mahayana on steroids than the philosophically guarded position Kastrup holds. He himself says he is conservative and sticks to ordinary interpretations like time and space and probably the existence of other civilizations and realms. I appreciate that he does that and why. Another point worth mentioning is the Markov Blanket each of us is ensconced in is surely semi-permeable. In that sense, a great deal of religious practice, including especially the samadhi states in Buddhism, can be understood as ways to make the Markov Blanket more permeable, to invite Mind at Large into our little cocoons. Prayer and religious ritual do that as well as does calling on God or practicing the presence of God. Moral actions, no matter how they are understood, that make us receptive to powers much greater than us are fundamental to human being and our comprehension of who and where we are. If we can comprehend Mind at Large viewing our lives through our eyes and senses, we can also comprehend having a very rich relationship with Mind at Large. In Buddhist terms, that might be described as us being drawn to the Tathagata to the point of never wanting to turn back. ABN

  13. Netanyahu ‘beside himself with rage’ after furious phone call with Trump over Iran war that left the Israeli leader ‘with his hair on fire’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clashed with Donald Trump in a furious phone call that left the Israeli leader with his ‘hair on fire’, a source has revealed.

On Tuesday evening, the two leaders held a difficult and lengthy phone call where they disagreed on the way forward in the Iran war.

Netanyahu increasingly doubts further negotiations with Tehran will yield a peace deal and wants to resume military strikes, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

Trump, meanwhile, wants to push harder for an agreement in which Iran abandons its nuclear weapons programme before any return to war.

Trump claimed that Netanyahu ‘will do whatever I want him to do’ on Iran, though adding that they had a good relationship

  15. A survey to understand the experience of living with developmental prosopagnosia (face-blindness)

This mixed methods study examined the real-world experiences of living with developmental prosopagnosia (face blindness), a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition that severely affects the ability to recognise faces despite otherwise normal vision, IQ and memory. Twenty-nine UK based adults with confirmed face recognition difficulties completed an online survey describing and quantifying their experiences of living with poor face recognition. Although the majority (62%) of participants reported being able to recognise their immediate family, e.g., parent, partner, or child, strikingly 35% reported being unable to reliably recognise their immediate family members out of context. Even fewer (45%), reported always being able to recognise their three closest friends when encountering them unexpectedly, highlighting that DP commonly affects the recognition of highly familiar faces with whom individuals have close emotional relationships. Furthermore, participants who reported being able or unable to recognise their immediate family showed no significant difference in objective face memory ability. More than two thirds of participants (65.5%) reported being able to recognise fewer than 10 familiar faces (with the most common response being none), far below typical abilities. Thematic framework analysis highlighted how low public, professional, and employer awareness of developmental prosopagnosia [DP] presented challenges across multiple domains including seeking diagnosis, social and family relationships and workplaces. Driven largely by concerns about negative evaluation by others, most participants employed a range of highly effortful, though error prone, strategies to disguise and compensate for their face recognition difficulties. Some of the strategies described may help explain why many individuals can perform within typical norms on laboratory face processing tests despite their clear difficulties in everyday life and highlight the need for ecologically valid tests. Participants’ highest priorities for future research were improved awareness of developmental prosopagnosia and interventions to improve their face recognition ability.

    link

    __________

I have this condition, but can come to recognize people sort of OK after interacting with them 3-7 times. Two points: 1) many people who have prosopagnosia do not know it; and 2) people with a singular appearance or who wear something distinctive, like the same hat all the time, are much easier for people with DP to recognize. I did not fully understand my own condition until well into middle age, and even then my understanding was not so good. One aspect of this condition I have not seen recognized is it greatly disturbs initial socialization with colleagues, neighbors, or potential friends. For example, my actual, innate internal warmth toward others does not activate on time toward people I have only interacted with a few times. A friendly exchange today somehow has been lost in me a week later when I see that same person again. Even if they tell me who they are and are sympathetic to prosopagnosia, an important piece of human connection has been lost in me; it as if I were talking to them for the first time again. This can easily be misunderstood by the other person as I do not like them or am cold or moody, which I am not. More people are aware of face-blindness than in the past, but the subtle social overtones of the condition—the lag in normal progress toward camaraderie, for example—may not be clear to most, including even those who have this condition. If many of your best friends, whom you took to quickly, have unique features or dress unusually, these may be signs you have DP. ABN

  16. COVID changed my worldview permanently — Kenny Carmody

Nearly six years after COVID began, not one world leader has seriously examined what the vaccines did to the people they harmed.

Not one investigation. Not one parliamentary inquiry with genuine teeth. Not one head of state who has stood at a podium and said, we owe the injured an honest accounting and we are going to provide it.

The silence is universal. And it is coordinated in a way that individual negligence cannot explain.

This is the observation that matters most to me, more than any document, more than any leaked communication, more than any specific piece of evidence. Because the behaviour of every major government simultaneously tells you something that the individual pieces cannot tell you alone.

Genuine public health emergencies produce genuine review. What worked. What did not. Who was harmed and how. That is what accountable institutions do.

What we have instead is a wall.

And on the other side of that wall, the vaccine injured, still without diagnostic codes, still without compensation, still without the basic acknowledgment that what happened to them was real.

While Long COVID is promoted heavily by the same governments and the same media that will not ask a single honest question about the injections. The parallel presentations. The overlapping symptoms. The convenient framing that points everywhere except at the product.

The universal silence of world leaders on vaccine injury is not the behaviour of people who have nothing to hide.

It is the behaviour of people who have collectively decided that the cost of honesty exceeds the cost of continued silence.

That decision is itself the answer.

  22. Strong words from Dan Bilzerian

    __________

These are strong words surely intended to shock the conscience. Following Gaza, Iran and Lebanon and centuries of Jewish Supremacist aggression against USA and the West, however, this is the kind of shock many people need to hear and experience. JS have attacked their host countries relentlessly while simultaneously claiming perennial victim status no matter what. Tens of millions of Whites have been covertly attacked—maimed, lobotomized, poisoned and more—by JS clandestine operatives living among us, posing as friends. Our nations, cultures, religions, and institutions have been relentlessly savaged, parasitized, degraded and corrupted by Jewish Supremacists. Bilzerian is targeting Israel in his talk above but I am quite confident he understands the even deeper problem of clandestine and deeply hostile JS living among us. Not all Jews are JS and not all JS are Jews, but there is a significant number of covert Jewish (and other) JS who constitute an active, robust and violent clandestine army living among us, within our institutions, within our communities. 29. NYC woman declined to press charges against subway shover ‘because she didn’t want to put another black man in jail’… weeks later he allegedly killed retired teacher, 76, at station

A young woman in New York City said she declined pressing charges against a violent suspect because she didn’t want to put ‘another black man in jail,’ weeks before he allegedly killed a 76-year-old retired teacher.

The 23-year-old woman anonymously detailed how she and a friend narrowly escaped Rhamell Burke, 32, after he allegedly attacked them while riding the subway on April 2.

The straphanger told the New York Post she now completely regrets her decision not to work with prosecutors after Burke was charged with murder on Friday for allegedly shoving 76-year-old Ross Falzone down a flight of stairs to his death at a subway station Thursday night.

‘Maybe a part of me was just like, I don’t want to put another black man in jail, but, you know, at some point, if you are a criminal, you’re a criminal, and he was scary, he was a scary guy,’ the unidentified woman told the outlet.

Police say Rhamell Burke was released from Bellevue Hospital roughly five hours before the deadly subway attack on Ross Falzone (Pictured) on Thursday

Benjamin Netanyahu plans to ‘wean’ Israel off American financial support, just as Donald Trump‘s Iran peace proposal unravels and oil prices surge.

Netanyahu was pressed on financial support Israel receives from the US during an interview with CBS News anchor Major Garrett Sunday.

‘Do you believe it’s time for the state of Israel to reexamine and possibly reset its financial relationship to the United States?’ Garrett asked, to which Netanyahu responded, ‘Absolutely.’

‘And I’ve said this to President Trump. I’ve said it in – to our own people. Their jaws drop,’ Netanyahu continued. ‘I want to draw down to zero the American financial support, the financial component of the military cooperation that we have.’

Netanyahu went on the say he wants to begin the drawdown immediately rather than wait for the next Congress, phasing it in over the next decade, a push that comes American support for Israel declines.

Specifically, because I follow the networks of the U.S. intelligence community and how they intersect with political objectives and interests of the U.S. government, I would be remiss if I did not point out that next month a Hollywood production by Stephen Spielberg is being released.

The Spielberg movie is called “Disclosure Day,” and the plot of the movie is the U.S. government informing the American people that alternative life systems, essentially alien entities, exist in our universe.  Perhaps it is a coincidental data point, perhaps not.  It is, however, a data point. You can decide if the two releases are related.

Today the Dept of War releases declassified files highlighting Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).  The FILES ARE HERE. The files contain videos, images and witness statements.

  41. The Hidden History of World War II — and the System It Created

…[After WW2], monopoly capitalism absorbed the world through debt, trade, media, technology, and corporate consolidation.

The result is the strange hybrid we live under today: corporate communism from above.

Private ownership for the few. Managed dependency for the many.

    Who Won World War II?

The ordinary soldier did not win.

The bombed civilians did not win.

The raped women of Eastern Europe did not win.

The Christians sent to gulags did not win.

The British public did not win. Despite Britain’s continued role within the postwar international order, the public was left with heavy debt and prolonged austerity.

The American people did not win either—over 400,000 were killed, while U.S. institutions emerged with unprecedented federal debt and a permanently expanded war economy.

Poland suffered catastrophic losses during the war, with an estimated 5.5 to 6 million people killed—around one-sixth of its population—yet did not emerge as a fully independent state in the postwar settlement, but became part of the communist sphere of influence.

The Germans did not win. The country and its major urban and civilian centres were devastated by sustained bombing, millions were displaced or expelled from Eastern Europe. An estimated 6–7 million German soldiers and civilians lost their lives during the war and its immediate aftermath, and between 12 and 14 million ethnic Germans were displaced or expelled from Eastern Europe, with many forced into occupied Germany while others were deported eastward into communist labour camps or used as forced labour.

With over 20 million deaths, the Soviet population—including Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Baltic peoples, and others—certainly did not win, if by “victory” we mean the experience of the people rather than the outcome for the Soviet state.

The winners were the institutions that emerged stronger: central banks, military contractors, intelligence agencies, supranational bodies, ideological bureaucracies, and the financial interests able to profit from destruction and reconstruction alike.

The war did not end in 1945.
    It changed form.

The battlefield shifted—from territory to finance, from armies to institutions, from open conflict to systems of management and global governance.

The old empires flew flags. The modern order operates through frameworks.

Institutions such as the United Nations matter not because they command openly, but because they reflect a broader postwar principle: that sovereignty is increasingly shaped, guided, and constrained through supranational structures.

I believe almost all thoughtful people can agree with the highlighted paragraph above. Who are the strongest players inside that system and what goals are they pursuing — these are the questions which face us today. Who controls the propaganda, who owns its outlets; who advocates for censorship; who uses established institutions to control large populations; who controls those institutions and how were they built, and how have they been taken over? What can possibly replace insider control of major institutions, and where does the power lie to do that? I don’t see it. We the people cannot do that. We the people can only act effectively when largely united, a rare occurrence. There may be a role for some future iteration of AI to remove most if not all of the corruption, contradictions, frictions and inefficiencies within regional and global systems. I imagine we humans will try to do that and might succeed. A good version of a world like that will provide for everyone without stifling anyone.

At core, most of our problems are fairly simple, so it could happen. ABN

  47. Trump’s bombshell private admission sends grim warning to Netanyahu as Israel braces for reckoning

She is the loudest, most aggressive pro-Israel voice in Donald Trump‘s orbit.

So when Laura Loomer leaned in close to the President two months ago and warned him that the American public was giving up on the Jewish State, his two-word reply landed like a thunderclap, carrying an ominous message for Benjamin Netanyahu.

‘You’re probably going to be the last pro-Israel President we ever have,’ Loomer recounted telling Trump, in an interview with the New York Times.

Trump, she says, replied: ‘You’re right.’

The White House pointedly did not deny the exchange. Spokeswoman Anna Kelly instead offered a boilerplate response that Israel ‘has always been a great ally to the United States’ and that its military was an ‘incredible partner’ in Iran

Even Loomer, the far-right firebrand who has made it her mission to purge MAGA of anyone who wavers on Israel, concedes there has been a marked shift in public opinion, notably among Republicans.

She went so far as to suggest Israel should accept the elimination of US military aid, currently a $38 billion 10-year package set to expire in 2028.

Facing skeptical questions from MAGA-aligned college students about US support for Israel, JD Vance recently suggested his support for Jerusalem is not unequivocal.

‘Israel, sometimes they have similar interests to the United States, and we’re going to work with them in that case. Sometimes, they don’t have similar interests,’ he said at the University of Mississippi in October.

That this is a top story this morning and that Laura Loomer is a significant part of it is amazing and also a deep sign of the times. She is a bizarre character to be speaking with the president of USA at all and also to be a center-piece of the apparent decline of Israel. All of this provides even more credence to this video and others like it from the Promethean group. ABN
