And... speaking of munching on fabulous food.
We went out with my dad to an Indian restaurant somewhere in the moist and mirky depths of the South Wales Valleys last night and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was.
Said location was #Aberdare and the place was called #SpiceCorner.
@druid had vegetable #biriani with a side of #alloogobi and I had a chicken #Tawa.
Dad didn't know what to order, so I suggested something that, thankfully, he seemed to enjoy.
Marvellous. 😄🌟

On my first walk to work of 2025 I discovered what appears to be a new invasive species.
Careful examination shows it to have a rubbery epidermis and a tendency to squeak when threatened., before exploding violently.
It seems to reproduce by silently drifting into new habitats fuelled through human neglect, hen do's and children's birthday parties.
I shall give the scientific name: Ballonia Inflatus

Last week I got to go to #CynonValleyMuseum in #Aberdare again with work and it was (as usual) a delight.
It was particularly fun because I got to dig through old documentation and solve some mysteries we'd found. I just love the little discoveries we can make in museums.
The museum building is so cool, and the collection very nice as well. If you haven't been I recommend a visit!
