I need to downsize my library and I'm getting ready to sell a ton of my #cartography book collection. I'm looking at both #Alibris and #Biblio as good options. Does anyone have any experience using either platform and any recommendations for either one? I'm also looking at #AbeBooks but none of my stuff is really that old or rare, and AbeBooks seems to have higher fees than the other two.

For specific #OutOfPrint or #UsedBooks I used to buy from #AbeBooks. Then I found out Amazon owns them too. I think #Alibris is independent. I would like suggestions for used and out-of-print book sites that treat sellers fairly. -
So #Amazon is closing #BookDepository. This follows on the heals of them announcing they're shuttering #DPReview last week. Both well-regarded and well-patronised companies.
Perish the thought that a pattern might be developing, but if you are a regular patron of any of the following, you might want to start thinking about alternatives:
#Twitch
#Audible
#GoodReads
#IMDb
#AbeBooks(there are many more, of course)

It’s been a quarter century since I founded BookFinder.com, back during the Web 1.0 days.
Ken Whyte told some of that story, and the larger context around it, on his blog last year.
