German Wikipedia calls him a "German painter", English Wikipedia calls him a "French painter of German origin". Born 1932 in Hamburg. The family emigrated to the British Mandate of Palestine in '33, then to Paris in '48. He died on Mallorca in 2002.
He filed under "psychedelic art", however he said he didn't paint under the influence of any drugs.
