I'm glad I got to see #AbdullahIbrahim (aka Dollar Brand) live some years ago, itself a weird gift from #SFjazz for appropriating one of my illustrations in their seasonal brochure without clearance. I remember I went solo even though I was given two tickets. He played beautifully.
