• https://inquiryintoinquiry.com/2026/06/16/information-comprehension-x-extension-preamble-a/Perhaps the best perspective from which to bring the connection between the theory of signs and the theory of inquiry into its proper focus is Peirce's own Theory of Information, which he began setting forth in lectures at Harvard and the Lowell Institute in 1865 and 1866. Peirce encapsulates the elements of his theory in the following formula.

In the Resources below I link to my study of Peirce's 1865–1866 Lectures on the Logic of Science, with selections from the lectures and my commentary on them.
Ten summers ago I hit on what struck me as a new insight into one of the most recalcitrant problems in Peirce's semiotics and logic of science, namely, the relation between “the manner in which different representations stand for their objects” and the way in which different inferences transform states of information. I roughed out a sketch of my epiphany in a series of blog posts then set it aside for the cool of later reflection. Now looks to be a choice moment for taking another look.

3) I was so terrified during the 'interrogation' eg. when the men asked me 'who would come after you if you disappeared'? that I invented family links to a terrorist organisation. I think that's what saved me from being abducted. Due to the extremely sexual overtone to their questions, I believe that the leader's objective was sexual exploitation or sex trafficking.

2) I think I was targeted in advance because my fiancé was a weak man who was very much in awe of the leader of these men and tried to impress him. He'd previously been a drug mule for the leader, who had a grow op (illegal back then). Afterwards, I'd asked my partner why he'd set me up like that and he said 'I wanted to give you the choice'. He looked extremely guilty & then cried.

Over 15 years ago I visited Saint John, NB to get married to a man from there. At our wedding reception, he persuaded me to go to a private area with his criminal friends. They held me there for hours while they threatened & terrified me, insulted me, then pretended to befriend me.
They told me they wanted me to go to a secret location 'in the woods' & I could never leave.

It is surprising that the concept of "anal probes" in alien abductions is relatively recent. It wasn't really until Communion by Whitley Strieber in 1987 that it really started to become common in abduction stories, which is also started a number of other tropes in the abduction genre being such a bestselling book and generally pretty well written compared to many, coming from an accomplished fiction writer

In other words,Constitutional Court said,if you are defending yourself from forced hospitalization by a request for legal help,ie you want to call your lawyer,it definitely doesn't mean you are dangerous,paranoid,that you are suffering rom delusions.
