UT students denounce social media attack by Republican Bo French

Lawmakers in both parties condemned French’s post as racist, but the Republican candidate refused calls to take it down and continued attacking the students.

“It was just us having some enjoyment,” Gupta, 21, said in a phone interview Sunday. “And now it's just people being blatantly racist toward us.”
