The guqin is an ancient, unfretted 7-string Chinese zither. This is a performance of “Three Variations on the Plum Blossom“ (https://youtu.be/MvxbfpuccXo?si=zrxt88ChZ1JEJguM), which is a series of compositions that date back to the Jin Dynasty of Ancient Imperial China (approximately 266 CE to 420 CE).
