Yesterday I was asked if I have any older computers around as a collection of sorts. Of course, I do.
So on a whim I decided to get my A7000+ down and take a photo or two. For some reason I started taking the lid off, and nearly stopped, after a RFI shield noisily clattered out of the lid.
But I opened up further and got to the board, and discovered... a dreaded battery leak.
Anyway, I have now removed the battery, cleaned the mainboard up, and it looks like I just about caught it in time!
It powers on and boots to supervisor, but I couldn't find a PS/2 keyboard & mouse to get any further.
