Back in the North after Easter with family in the South. Pity that the journey takes 4 hours each way, but at least the A470 is prettier than a motorway. 🚗

Good afternoon everyone!
I've been driving past this #sculpture on the #A470 just north of #Llanidloes for years ... and finally I took the opportunity to stop and photography it.
It's a tricky bugger to photograph: it faces north, and is predominantly backlit. I'm going to have to do some proper planning for when I go back and do it justice!

✅🌳 #TrafficWales have now said the #A470 has re-opened between #BuilthWells and #Erwood after debris from downed trees had been removed.

Good thing I don't need to get to the shops.
TORNADO brings down trees & closes A470 between Builth & Erwood.
It also sucked up River Wye water into a water spout and blew roofs off farm buildings.
