The B series Arc cards even requires it. So gotta shutdown my server and check my BIOS again. 😩

Meanwhile I found out that there is the professional Intel #A40Pro GPU which equals the #A380 chipset but has lower TDP (50W) and lower clock speeds, but also a blower fan design. At least it is supposed to be quieter than the former Sparkle A310. Sadly nobody seems to have published proper benchmarks comparing all these cards when it comes to power draw and transcoding speed.

Oh, and you should upgrade you GPU firmware because older firmware version break transcoding entirely. Which is only possible on Windows, at least officially: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-flash-intel-arc-gpu-firmware-in-linux
