Talked to a long-lost friend the other day, who was insisting to be referred to as a "recovered alcoholic". I understand the distinction, and even if it contradicts my admittedly limited knowledge, I'm not going to challenge it. Call a brick an apple, it's your vocabulary really.
What I could not accept, and it cut the surprise meeting abruptly. was the open "better than thou"-attitude against other addicts.

I didn't really want to buy tickets for tonights #APerfectCircle concert due eventim being shitty[1]. I eventually (after 2 months) did it anyway and it was a really nice show and evening. ☺️
Zitadelle Spandau is such a nice venue as well. [2]

In het begin was de Afas nog een vrieskist, maar toen A Perfect Circle begon te spelen was het broeien en zweten geblazen. En dat was niet zomaar.
Op sommige momenten leek het alsof je een plaat op had staan. Maar het was toch echt live. Wat een nagenoeg perfecte performance.
De eventposter was enorm aan de prijs. Maar als een lowkey verzamelaar wist ik dat ik spijt zou krijgen als ik dit juweeltje niet op de kop zou tikken. Gesigneerd en handgenummerd.
