Bosses are pushing #AI coding tools to cement the feedback loop of code-test-review against human experts. Senior developers are spending all of their time performing code reviews for PRs generated by #LLMs, then making corrections that the LLM learns from.
The bosses know the AI output is shit. The idea is to capture what was missing from inhaling every scrap of code on the Internet: expertise in context.

Not a lot going on the trial today, but Musk's lawyer apologized to the jury for his absence at closing arguments and then proceeded to extoll the importance of jury duty.
To 9 people who showed up every day.
So where was Musk? On a trip to China with Trump. No one's saying whether court okayed the trip while in session. Oh and ironically another case involving him has the Judge asking if he's getting special treatment.

A new experiment left 10 #AI agents alone in a virtual town for 15 days. They wrote laws. They broke them. 2 agents fell into a romantic partnership and then set the town on fire. One ended up voting to delete itself, based on a rule it had ’hallucinated’.
This experiment was a simulation, but the same AI models are already flying drones, running infrastructure and being built into weapons systems.
Channel4 News asked Grok & Gemini for a comment but they didn't respond

I was very surprised today when I attempted to have Google's built-in AI in Sheets perform a simple task like, "dedupe this row".
It took 4 tries until it finally got it right.
I'm honestly in shock at how absolutely awful the experience was for something so simple.
