Within a housing complex filled with roommates and those wanting to learn magic lays a library of secret spells and studies used to protect themselves, but were used for a evil genie's nafarious deeds, corrupting those and trapping them within these halls. Once freed, the path to her lair remained clear, but one does not leave a chest unopened before such event. As if luck and rolls were on the Bucket Brigade's side, Hannah was gifted "Golden Wings of Flying," allowing her to be much more versitile. Tho, I don't even think Hannah was aware of that.

This was an idea I wanted to do ever since it happened in our current DnD campaign! I really couldn't believe it either when it happened. So the focus was definitely on getting Hannah with the wings while also showcasing the amazing roll. I ended up going with the screencap popping out of the chest. A pretty cool representation if I do say so myself. I was worried about getting the wings pose and look right, making them not too yellow but also showcasing their grandeur. The weapon what something she had at the time "Hammer of Thorns" and while I prefer her with the sword, this is more accurate. I struggled more with the lighting as I wanted to fit the area while not being too overdone. The very last addition was a text box showing the new item as I'd figure people would be curious what it does.

Within the early days of being a genie, Jenika looked at her vessel and finally inspect it. But, seeing how she did not like most bottles, she saw it as gaudy and just tossed it into the trash without hesitation. Unaware of the binds to said vessel to say the least.

This was a fun idea I had in my head for a while, just the idea of a genie tossing out their own vessel with zero hesitation has so much potential for comedy. I used a lesser-known OC as she was the one I had the idea attached to. I also decided to try something different with the shine when I went with more cel-shading.

This art piece was created more as a piece of merch to sell but that wasn't the only reason. If you're on the internet, it's impossible to avoid Hatsune Miku; with one of the artists that made me want to improve my lighting (Rella) exclusively does Miku art. All of that merged together and lead to this piece of work. Of course went with the mermaid theme but also wanted to be influenced by her original design. I gave her big twintails inspired by other versions of Miku tho with tips feeling closer to the vibes of the ocean. I also went with soundbar patterns and scales thanks to brushes I made before hand. A little bit of foreground blur and added music notes behind her to enhance the feeling of her singing, with the wavebars brush enhancing. Also tried to use those brushes for the rays thru the water. I still absolutely love how it came out!

1. #House of Leaves to książka Marka Z. Danielewskiego z roku 2000.

2. Książka jest mieszanką tylu gatunków, że nie da się określić głównego. Jest tu horror, historia miłosna, dramat rodzinny, ale także natrząsanie się z pism akademickich. A to tylko z rzeczy, które ja wychwyciłem. Każdy znajdzie tu coś dla siebie.

3. Powieść składa się z warstw: (1) dokument stworzony przez znanego fotografa nt. tytułowego domu, (2) książka nt. dokumentu napisana przez tajemniczego starca, (3; tu zaczyna się meta) przypisy do poziomu 2 autorstwa Johnny'ego Truanta, który znalazł książkę z warstwy 2, (4) przypisy do przypisów z poziomu 3, tym razem autorstwa Redaktorów. Oprócz tego są załączniki na końcu (jak np. listy matki do Johnny'ego).

4. Jakby tego było mało, książka „bawi się” wizualnie z graczem i sekwencje w labiryntopodobnym miejscu są spisane jak labirynt, różne warstwy stosują różne fonty, a każde wystąpienie słowa #dom (w dowolnym języku) jest w kolorze niebieskim. Plus kilka innych motywów.

5. Wspomniany wcześniej horror w architektonicznej postaci #____ bardzo przypomina H. P. Lovecrafta, w tym, że nie ma tu potwora goniącego bohaterów, a raczej wszechobecny kosmiczny horror.

6. Napisanie książki zajęło podobno 10 lat pisania po 10 godzin dziennie. Nie wiem, czy to prawda, ale bogactwo detalu na każdym poziomie pozwala mi w to uwierzyć.

7. Czytanie powieści przyszło mi bardzo naturalnie, ponieważ skakanie pomiędzy różnymi odniesieniami jest umiejętnością, którą posiada każdy internauta skaczący np. po Wikipedii. Nie od razu to pojąłem.

8. Gdybym miał wskazać jakkolwiek podobną książkę, to byłaby to „Gra w klasy” Julia Cortazara.

9. Obok książki powstał album „Haunted” Poe (czyli Anne Decantur... Danielewski). Rodzeństwo inspirowało się nawzajem podczas tworzenia jednego i drugiego.

10. Ponad 700-stronnicową powieść pochłonąłem w bardzo szybkim dla siebie tempie i jestem zachwycony i mogę jedynie polecić.
