Warum bin ich hier !!
Zuerst einmal habe ich schon länger die Schnauze voll von Big-Tech . Facebook , Instagram , Windows etc. etc.
Seit einer Weile schon nutze ich Linux statt Windows.
Und ich vermisse so gar nichts..
Wäre womöglich im Berufsleben anders, aber privat,
habe ich alles was ich will... Ohne tracking ohne Konten ohne das man mir auf die Nerven geht.

I'm starting a little public experiment. 🧪

I'm a complete non-programmer and I'm going to build a custom theme for Kirby CMS v5 — together with an LLM (Claude by Anthropic) as my coding partner. 😉

The goal: migrate my German blog kranzkrone.de from WordPress to Kirby, with a clean, minimalist design built (almost) from scratch.

Every step will be documented — the progress, the dead ends, the "why doesn't this work?!" moments. The code will be open on Codeberg. I'll blog about it and toot about it here.

If we hit a wall, I'll just show the code to someone who knows more. That's the beauty of building in public. 🙂

Proof of concept: how far can a curious amateur get in tandem with a powerful AI?

With the process of shutting down all my #ustech and #bigtech accounts, I felt the need of having a place to myself again, where I could share my thoughts. For now, I've decided to use #zola as a static site generator, which gets hosted to @Codeberg

Here's my successful "Hello, world!" that'll allow me to further my journey towards #digitalindependence as this static site will not only replace my old blogging software, but I plan to replace with it so much more! What a fitting coincidence, to have that post see the light of day on the Digital Independence Day :)

And then my players started to (inter)act and the session just flew by.
