Heard one of my 97 year old dad's war stories I hadn't heard before today. After a bombing raid in Germany, where he'd been taken as a teen from Poland into forced labour - he entered a bombed out house. Found some potatoes and a pot of what he thought was flour. So he made some soup. Spat it out after a mouthful or so as it tasted bad. Turns out the tub of flour was actually somebody's funerary urn!!
So learnt today my dad is sort of a cannibal!! 👁️ 👁️
