Believe it or not, if you make it past the first painfully cringey fifteen minutes, it’s not all bad. The wrestling scenes are pretty well done, and Wally George’s gimmick was a hoot. This plays out very differently than typical, and Hoskins does a great job conveying the emotional and mental roller coaster as it unfolds. Eddie Constantine as the American a nice touch. That final scene, and that score that punctuates the big moments throughout including that one, just great great stuff. #80sfilms
