  1. A Saturday nighty night tune that unfortunately was buried for the most part when released in 1983 but got regular airplay when I was on the air at my first radio station gig the next year.

    Do you feel alright?
And can you see me when you're lookin' in your mirror?
    Crazy
    Try to find a way
    So your heart don't pay
    Run away
    Don't you give yourself away

  2. It’s 1983, you’re in broadcasting school in Minneapolis at the age of 18 and damn if this one from a local band isn’t all over 92 KQRS Golden Valley/Minneapolis-St. Paul. And now, it’s 2025 you’re 60, on deck up nort’ and it sounds just as good as it did 42 years ago.

  3. What you had with Michael Des Barres on vocals backed by members of Blondie, the Sex Pistols and David Bowie’s Tin Machine for a little while in the 80s.

  4. When I was at my second radio station job in 1987, this little ditty from XTC was released as a single. It was aired a couple times and removed from rotation.

Dear God, I can't believe in-
    I don't believe in-
I won't believe in Heaven and Hell
No saints, no sinners, no devil as well
No pearly gates, no thorny crown
You're always letting us humans down
The wars you bring, the babes you drown
Those lost at sea and never found

  5. In my humble opinion, one of the better Phil Collins solo tunes. Wayyyy better than “Sussudio” which was off the same album and better known. I played this one whenever possible when I was doin’ the radio thing in the mid 80s and into the mid 90s. Along with that pirate radio station I ran while deployed to northern Iraq in 2004.
