7 Year Bitch was an undeniably influential hard edged riot grrl band. “Hip Like Junk” (https://tinyurl.com/25n9k4h2) / No Strobe: (https://tinyurl.com/yhwx2576) is from their 1994 debut album “¡Viva Zapata!” (https://tinyurl.com/ms75nkv6) which was compiled in conjunction with the band’s general feminist activism and in memory of the late Mia Zapata from The Gits, who they were close with. As with their name, the band broke up after 7yrs in 1997.

They even named the album in her honor. Viva Zapata while also giving nods to the Marlon Brando film of the same name.
