It took fifteen (15) minutes for me to get a solo elevator to the top of seven (7) world trade #today. Twelve (12) elevators, not even close to my record, 23 to go up solo and 8 to go down.
Was just in time for my meeting.

Almost tied my record this a.m. - 21 elevators to get a solo up! (My previous record is 22). I was at 20, then in a dramatic twist before the commercial break, a last-ditch rider from 42 to 44 caused me to get off and take 21 - the final stretch to the finish(!) One of the attorneys got up so far ahead of me, I saw them again, now with their breakfast, while I was just getting to my floor LOL

Caught the E, last car. Got me and this guy in, bing bong. Walked forward at each stop, then when we were held at World Trade, I walked between cars which now I believe is a ticketable offense but I made it to the first car then made the wise choice to get the breakfast special which really does not need maple syrup bc it's chocolate chip pancakes with strawberry sauce wowza good runon sentence there.

Had a lovely disruption today, for our large class of new Summer Associates. We're at the top of Seven World Trade & during this morning's technology training session, window washers rolled past the huge conference room with views North. We decided to wave, some saying "they can't see us" but they waved back! (I was supporting remotely after saying hello & grabbing a cinnamon roll, but I've seen them in years past)
