Some months ago I came across cherry 7up. I always found that weird thing as with these lemon sodas whatever is added to them generally takes over the whole flavor.
Here's even weirder one, 7up tropical from US. If there's ever something that smells fruity, this one certainly does. It tastes nothing like what I'd expect 7up to taste, reminding more of the exotic fruits Fanta than a lemon soda.
It's not bad per se, it's actually one of the better ones when it comes to these alternate taste versions of known sodas. The branding just seems weird.
And in case you're wondering, the drink itself isn't clear like normal 7up but more like deep orange.

I understand the problems with the #7up series, but I have liked to follow them. These folks are just enough ahead of me that I felt like they were a beacon from the future... And I particularly liked to see the path of this kid from farm to physics. Alas.
