- Six Feet Under (For me, there is no better tv show, and never will be. End of discussion.)
- Succession
- Will & Grace
- Queer as Folk (UK)
- Schitt’s Creek
- Derry Girls
- Fleabag
I excluded miniseries. Otherwise, after the first item, it’d all be miniseries. Maybe I should do a list of 7 miniseries to know me :) On the other hand, I’m surprised to have picked so many comedies. I guess my actual favorite TV show “genre” is drama miniseries.

I love many shows. It was a tough choice.
- Friends (always, my apologies. I was the right age. They became my family. I grew into an adult alongside them.)
- Battlestar Galactica (2004)
- Mad Men
- Doctor Who (2005)
- BoJack Horseman
- Line of Duty
- Positive comedy like Parks & Recreation (my first), and Schitt’s Creek (my favourite), with a necessary mention of Ted Lasso.
(Yes, I’m cheating.)
And bonus: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Succession.
Slow Horses
The Expanse
Severance
The Old Man
Bad Sisters
The Marvellous Mrs Maisel

#7TVSeriesToKnowMe (I know I'm late to the party)
1. The West Wing (my fave - I've probably seen it upwards of 20 times by now, at least the first 3-4 seasons)
2. Stargate (and I count SG-1, Atlantis and Universe as one)
3. Doctor Who (new who)
4. The Rookie (my recent guilty pleasure)
5. Queer Eye (cheers me up every time)
6. Gilmore Girls (it's just so fluffy and warm)
7. The Good Place (first season twist, I did NOT see that coming).
This is difficult, but ...
Tomorrow People
Survivor
I, Claudius
House of Cards (British version)
Blackadder (series 1)
The Professionals
West Wing
So that's history, politics, sci fi, black comedy and some enjoyable tosh. Yep, that's about right.
West Wing
Morse
The Unforgotten
Line of Duty
Have I Got News For You
Bagpuss
Blackadder
. . . and more . . .
