A fan blade broke off my 7900 XTX mid gaming session, I was playing the Last of Us 2 for about an hour when i heard a slight rattle noise from computer then within about 60-90 seconds it turned into loud clank and grinding noise, and i found the blade at bottom of my case.

Also, some feedback on the #7900XTX after two weeks of usage. Work-wise, no issues whatsoever. Works perfectly fine and stable. Temps are cool, consumption is fine (I wish we can get lower idles, but it's fine). Gaming-wise. It's mixed. Overall it's amazing and works fine, but some titles (dxvk-based) are crashing consistently and hard, but out of ~100 titles in my collection, I have only 7 games that resets the GPU and Issues are opened and are being looked at by AMD, so ...

As far as card itself. I'm running it with a Quiet BIOS rather than performance, due to TDP and power consumption considerations, hence everything I write is in QUIET BIOS and not the top performance #7900XTX or this particular card can deliver!
1) It tops at 63C with zero noise produced in my case
2) Idle consumption is 18-28W
3) It runs my monitor at 165Hz with memory stays at idling 97 Mhz
4) It's the same size as my previous #ASRock Phantom gaming RX #6800XT
5) It's twice the weight (2 Kg) -
The day is finally here. After a long weekend in the mountains, the video card (#Sapphire #Radeon RX #7900XTX) is finally arrived meanwhile, so 2nd half of the Sunday is fully dedicated to the testing.
1)st and foremost, it works! Kernel 6.1.4, mesa 22.3.2, linux-firmware-20221214
2) Every game I had installed worked, superposition benchmark worked, opencl worked, AMD HIP in Blender worked
3) Card is not recognized by name, it's reported as Radeon Graphics (RADV gfx1100)

I guess it's probably close enough to embargo to call it: I'm not getting RDNA3 sample at launch for coverage. Disappointed that even when they compete, AMD seems uninterested in having streaming/content creation-focused coverage in their lineup again. Everyone else is on board!
