That Charlie still hasn't returned from the MTA. He'll never return and his fate is still unlearned.

  2. A beautiful haunting song with vague lyrics will be misinterpreted for decades. Generations of fans enthusiastically bending the meaning to their specific whims.

It was about miscommunication the whole time. 🔥

(P.S. @LikeItOrLumpIt - Give this one a listen. Not sure if you like The Doors, but I think this song is gorgeous. It was left off the album which I think was atrocious, especially with the 2 clunkers that made it ("Do It" and "Easy Ride"). But hey, I'm not an A&R man for Elektra in 1969. I guess.)

  4. That poems are cool.

    "Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day's useless energy is spent
    Impassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young

Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
    Red is grey and yellow-white
But we decide which is right
    And which is an illusion"

Why she was afraid to come out of the locker, then the blanket, then the shore, then the water.

From the locker to the blanket
From the blanket to the shore
From the shore to the water
    Guess there isn't any more
