Republicans in Congress have introduced the extreme anti-voter Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 22/ S.128) and declared it among their top priorities. This bill would hinder millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote by requiring citizens to present a birth certificate or passport in person to register.
Millions of Americans don’t have easy access to these documents.

After spending $288 million to help elect Trump, billionaire and Nazi sympathizer Elon Musk has begun to influence various parts of the federal government through the newly-created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Trump established DOGE via an executive order renaming the existing U.S. Digital Service agency, which previously managed government websites like the health insurance enrollment site healthcare.gov and the new IRS Direct File system. The EO also moved the agency from the Office of Management and Budget to the Office of the President and tasked it with upgrading government IT systems. However, the moves that Musk and his aides have since made go far beyond that mandate.

I was able to call and leave a message at Representative Max Miller‘s DC office, which his local office number forwards to. As for my two senators, Bernie Moreno and Jon Husted, their DC office voicemail boxes are full. What’s more, the phone system is getting overwhelmed, as indicated by the significant stuttering while playing the voice mail greeting message when I called.
True Americans are angry and upset by Trump’s and Musk’s flagrant and illegal activities, and our voices are only going to get louder.
