This week's challenge for @[email protected]'s #52WeeksPhotoChallenge is "red". As red as the #OberbaumBrücke in #Berlin probably. It's been a bit of a battle to get the right light this week that boosts the deep warm red of the bricks but eventually I made it.

This week's motto of @[email protected]'s #52WeeksPhotoChallenge is "secret". I did have a couple ideas for it that would've worked well in my immediate neighbourhood already but since I am trying to make more use of my #Deutschlandticket I decided to go to #Stralsund and #Rügen and see what I can get there.

I can't say this week's contribution actually attributed to me sitting in the train for hours and dealing with intoxicated football fans (soccer for those of you that live on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean) but of course I also brought home a whole lot of other nice photos.

Haven't been able to go out with my camera at all this week but eventually did manage to get hold of something for the 6th week of @[email protected]'s #52WeeksPhotoChallenge with the current motto "enlighten/light up". It's some flower bouquets (obviously) that wife got from her class after their finals the other week, above the camera pointing straight up at our kitchen lamp.

I was intrigued by some of the pictures others were able to compose by shooting straight into a single light source so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try and make something of it. Don't think I've nailed it but at least I've increased my understanding of how things work, which is part of the whole point 😃

This week's motto for @[email protected]'s #52WeeksPhotoChallenge is "Decay".

While the #KaiserWilhelmMemorialChurch didn't technically decay - it was heavily damaged during WWII - I think it does depict the motto in a more metaphorical way. The remains of the main tower of the church were reinforced and preserved to serve as a reminder and cenotaph of what fascism (and war) will lead to. And unfortunately this collective memory has indeed heavily decayed particularly over the last decade.

This week's motto for @[email protected]'s #52WeeksPhotoChallenge is "Liveliness". I came up with this at #Berlin's Warschauer Brücke. In my wildest dreams I never would have imagined it being so hard to fill the frame with people in this particular spot.

This week's motto for the #52WeeksPhotoChallenge by @[email protected] is "Land" (as in land, country, countryside,...) so I made a spontaneous trip to #Vetschau as weather services also suggested there'd be more and nicer snow than in Berlin. This is what I've come up with.

Das Bild ist (leider) schon knapp 5 Jahre alt. Es stammt aus einer Zeit, in der es mir wirklich schlecht ging. Es ist leider das einzige Bild von der damaligen Winterwanderung, was ich in meinen Speichern finden kann. Mir hatte es dann im Laufe des Jahres 2019 den externen Speicher zerpflückt und alles verschwand im Nirgendwo.

Für #Sport reicht es momentan zeitlich nur selten. Meist beschränkt es sich dann doch auf die Radstrecke zur Kita und zurück. So kommt dann auch für die #52WochenFotoChallenge das #Fahrrad zum Einsatz.

#52WochenFotoChallenge und #Emotion… Was macht man da?

Das #Auto ist doch in Deutschland ein emotionales Thema, oder? 😀 Und ich kann mich nicht mal davon freisprechen, mit dem #Cabrio bei #Sonnenuntergang über die #Landstraße (#SomewhereInTheEifel 😉) macht ja Spaß, spätestens an der Tankstelle kommt dann aber auch das schlechte Gewissen. Also direkt doppelte Emotionen. 🤷‍♂️
