Why does my scanner do this when I try and scan transparencies/film.
It's super frustrating and I don't know what triggers it.
Scanner:
Epson V700Software:
Image Capture
Epson Scan 2
VueScan (rarely as it's the free version)I also try removing and reinstalling the scanner via the print utility (feels like sometimes that has fixed it in the past).
Flatbed seems to be fine.

Pleased overall with both the new notching system and 3 of 4 of the pictures themselves. Scanned at 1200 DPI and lightly edited in #Darktable (I removed a few dust spots, cropped, and upped the contrast very slightly).
You can tell from one of these pictures especially that we are still in a pretty heavy drought.
