The unidentified searching officer in the indictment serves on #CBP Tactical Terrorism Response Team, which allegedly gave FBI access to a search power they would not ordinarily possess inside the country.
Sam was refused an attorney and told he couldn't enter the country until "those guys were done with him", or he unlocked his phone...so he gave them an unlock code that wiped the phone. Now they are charging him with "destruction of evidence".
